Age of bitcoin users.

A majority of the people who are doing the bitcoin trade are the youths aged between 10 years and 35 years. the reason being they are the age bracket in which computers and the internet have caught their attention. I am currently 25 years old. This however does not mean that we do not have the people in the old age carrying out the business. My father is 51 and he busy check the coins and trade even more than I do.

Yep! There are a lot of different ages of people using bitcoin and bitcointalk. As you said, there are of course more people under 40 using bitcoin than over, as more people under 40 tend to have interests in the internet and, thus, Bitcoin! There are many people that are over 40 that use the internet, but some older than 70 are probably still trying to calculate how such a "large" amount of information travels to their computer screen. I know there are many elderly people that "ditch" the idea of using computers through a lack of understanding of that subject. This is very strange to me considering, the computer was initially created in 1954 and the ideas for it came from the 1800.

Based on your age: this means that you have tried harder than the younger people on the forum to encorporate Bitcoin in your life. The younger you are, the easier it is to use computers but it is harder the older you are. I still don't think that age is old though! I'd say that that was still middle age (until aroud 54-55), depending on the country you reside!

I see tons of ages on here and I have to ask the question, is it OK to do business with BTC users and Altcoin users who are under the legal age of adulthood in their location?  I know in the USA I can not enter int a contract with anyone under the age of 18, but would BTC and Altcoin exchange be considered a contract.

I'm 22 years old. It's interesting how many under 18s use bitcoins. I guess it gives them anonymity.

No! I don't think it would! I also believe that "the legal age" (the age of majority) in the US is 16!
Exchanges over the internet means that you are anonymous and technically not creating a contract with them, you are just hosing a deal with them.

27 Reporting in. Been using bitcoin since I was 24 or so. Completely has altered my life and path.
I often wonder where I would be had I not discovered Bitcoin, Likely not launching businesses and trying to regain honour is my guess.

I often feel the average bitcoiner is a middle aged neckbeard that has made a living off the internet.. Or folks that are younger and faucet munchers.
Hard to say really. Would be interesting to see what type of statistics could be pulled if someone offered a survey for BTC to actually have a head count as to see what the demographics are.
