For auction is one 100 gram .9999 gold bar by Degussa of Germany.
This gold bar is 24k and weighs 3.21 troy ounces.
All of my 100 gram bars are sourced from APMEX

I'm not sure how well this auction will do, but I'm testing the market with hope to offer even more bullion soon!
Worldwide shipping with insurance.
Serious bids only.

Note: I am not the seller. I only make promo for that awesome auction.

It would be more awesome if they offered escrow. I wouldn't put up serious money for it without that.

Yep.  This reeks of scam, especially when its 3.21 oz. and the "buy now" price is less than 1 oz.

Plus, it's a bit disturbing that he has to use an image from Apmex's site, rather than a pic of his own bar....

tosaki, a gold bar at less than 1/3 of its real value, and no escrow ?
To "make promo for that awesome auction" is, with all due respect, quite naive.
I suggest you remove the auction and ban the Seller.
Also, add a new Rule, like "no Auction > 10 BTC sell-now without escrow".
My Trust in Bitmit got much lower today...

But a fool who thinks himself wise, he is called a fool indeed.

Okay thanks for the feedback guys. So far you get a warning when a user has not enough positive ratings/not id verified and you try to add an item to the basket. Maybe I have to expand that a little bit for higher value goods.

However I have talked with the seller, he we will relist it today with escrow and more documentation :-)
