How / When and where? I can swap my CV2 on Colx?

The swap is scheduled for August 31st/Sept 1st area.  Unsure of the timeframe the swap lasts, but I'd recommend sooner rather than later.

If there is no PoW here, then how to control the time of block? I have to say the project is very interesting.

Trying to make a super simple example:

The time is built into the code, proof of stake is essentially a form of "mining" dubbed "minting" because it rewards people that hold a currency more of said currency for securing the blockchain by verifying blocks. 

Now to give an example of staking with mining terminology:

This means that if 1 billion coins are staking, it forms a similarity to how network hashrate works except its against a fixed difficulty.
If there is only 10 coins staking it, it has a new network hashrate significantly smaller but will still be performing against a fixed difficulty.

This means that if there is a sudden drop in staked coins/network hashrate, the network won't hit a tremendous difficulty level and slow down it keeps a fixed block rate coming based on your share of the networks staked coins.


(I've had to explain proof of stake to regular people before, first time I get to do it for someone that understands mining hopefully it makes a little sense lol)

I was happy when I saw new developments. Please I'd advice we work on our website too. It needs more professional touches. One of the things new investors check is the quality of the webpages. All the top cryptos/coin have a standard, catchy website. Also the devs can post on the homepage little info about them and of course photograph this will increase newbies confidentiality.

It's not a stupid question, yes its enough for staking but you may not see rewards often depending how many others are staking.

ColossusCoin2.conf, save it and follow the instructions below:
If you having sync issues:
Windows 7/8:
1. Click Start, type %appdata% and hit enter.
2. Open the ColossusCoin2 folder (C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\ColossusCoin2)
3. Back up wallet.dat file and save it somewhere else than in the ColossusCoin2 folder!
4. Delete ColossusCoin2.conf in your AppData\Roaming\Colossuscoin2 Folder (If the file exist)
4. Replace it with the ColossusCoin2.conf file  and change your rpcuser and rpcpassword after downloading ColossusCoin2.conf file

The ColossusCoin2.conf should most likely be at one of the following locations: -
Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Application Data\ColossusCoin2\ColossusCoin2.conf
Windows Vista/7/8 - C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\ColossusCoin2\ColossusCoin2.conf
Mac OSX - /Users/your username/Library/Application Support/ColossusCoin2/ColossusCoin2.conf

Select save as >All files<  from the dropdown in Notepad and make sure you save it as a ColossusCoin2.conf file with a .conf extension and not as .txt. If you save as .conf without selecting all files it will save as .conf.txt and it won't work.

Note that the username and password can be anything it doesn't matter (it is NOT your wallet password and you should not make it your wallet password for security reasons) so make it something long and obnoxious.
