December 2013. I discovered Bitcoin and ordered a graphics card to mine altcoins. While waiting for that delivery, I created a simple program in a few afternoons that would do arbitrage on Cryptsy about 10 days, I turned 0.1 LTC in 1 BTC. I sold my miner soon after.

Together with a friend of mine we improved that simple program. Currently we have over 40 BTC, I do not think it is possible anymore to turn 0.1 LTC into a few bitcoin in today's market. But our profits the last 6 months were enough to offset the decline in bitcoin price from $600 to $220, so it is certainly still profitable.

The program has now grown into a trading bot that we want to start selling to the public. The trading bot is a command line application with a configuration file that can be easily created and modified with our GUI. The bot and GUI are separate programs and can be run on different systems. For example run the bot on Linux and use the GUI on Windows.

We are currently running a pilot with a handful of users. The software obviously works, but the user experience is not always ideal. We are mainly focusing on improving that. We expect to go live in a few weeks.

Features
What we do not do:
 - EMA crossover.
 - StochRSI.
 - Fancy GUI's with 20 sliders and checkboxes that need constant babysitting.
 - Send your api keys to our servers.
 What we do:
 - Fully custom trading strategies that have been verified to work in the field. Not just in backtesting.
 - Extremely low maintenance.
 - Easy to configure. Simple GUI with a few options.
 - Track profits via external (open source) application that produces pretty graphs and mail reports.
 - No-nonsense.

Supported exchanges
BTCChina, BTCE, Bter, CEX.IO, Hitbtc, ItBit, Kraken

On these exchanges we support almost all combinations of currencies and cryptocurrencies (only on CEX we do not).

Supported platforms
 - Windows
 - Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS upon request)
 - OS X support not planned
 - Raspberry Pi upon request

The GUI will probably be open sourced soon, so users with unsupported platforms can compile their own version.

Target audience
The tool is suited for you:
 - if you have too many bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies on the shelf.
 - if you are into cryptocurrencies for the long run.
 - if you understand the risks of cryptocurrencies and exchanges.

FAQ
Q: Are you a registered company?
A: We are working on this.

Q: Do I pay taxes on every purchase?
A: If you live in the EU, yes.

Q: I do not live in the EU what now?
A: we are still trying to figure out how this works...

 Q: Can I re-sell this software?
A: As required by law, you may re-sell your license to anyone else. Please contact us after you have done this, so we can update all contact information. Only one person can use a license at a time.

 Q: Can I receive a refund?
A: As required by law, yes. Our local law requires 14-day full refunds, such refunds will be issued in the same currency as you have paid.

Q: Do I receive future updates for free if I buy a license?
A: We are working on this.

Q: Sounds cool. How much will it cost?
A: probably more than a few around a few bitcoin.

Terms and conditions
We are still discussing the exact terms. There's a high chance it is going to be based on Dutch law.

Do  you have anything to back up your story here?

Also, do you maybe have any videos of the bot in action etc?

I expected that question. To back up our claims we have:
Since 22 dec 2013 daily balance data from all exchanges in csv format.
Since feb 2013, half-hourly balance data from all exchanges in csv format.

As we mentioned, we have an open source project that collect this data and creates nice plots automatically. It takes a bit more time to format those plots in a way that the community can't misunderstand them.

Additionally, i am prepared to give a few members of the community access to our accounts so they can download our trading, deposit and withdraw history. The only problem with this is that most of our early profit comes from bter, an exchange which does not seem to keep that data for more than 24 hours.

I am one of the closed beta testers, after pushing them to let me test it out after their success stories.

I received the trading bot a few days ago and started using it on various exchanges. Yesterday I checked the balance across the five exchanges and noticed an average 10% profit (in BTC, not USD). All bots were in profit, with the exception of Kraken which was at a 5% loss, even though it had a 10% profit the day before. In the logfile I saw about 50% of the messages were about Kraken so I stopped the Kraken instance.

Just now I checked again over the 4 remaining exchanges, and I currently have a 15% profit in BTC. Sorry I don't have any fancy graphics, I have to manually check the exchanges and I haven't been bothered yet to setup their profit-tracker. But so far I'm quite happy with the result Smiley

1. Testimonials from new accounts will not be considered valid. At all. Do not bother.
2. Get a couple TRUSTED community members and have them reviewing your code, or make it full open source.
3. Post that hypothetical performance publicly.

Otherwise GTFO, seriously.

Before you say anything about the novelty factor of my account, I am not here trying to get profit or convincing anyone.

GL.

The trading bot will not be open source. The risk that someone will run off with our source code is too high. I also don't believe that somebody with the right qualifications will audit our source code. That stuff is hard.

Our chamber of commerce registration should be completed soon, we'll be working on plots tomorrow. If there is anything else we can do we would like to hear it.

I promised plots.

This plot shows the total amount of bitcoins we have. The 'total' line is the total amount, the 'active' line is the amount we trade with. The difference between the 2 lines is the amount we've already cashed.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18772348/tulip/bitcointalk%20topic/total.png

The next plot shows our profit during the first half of 2014. We made a lot of profit on bter and cryptsy. After a few months that stopped. One of our cryptsy accounts has 152554 trades. On bter our trading history was so large that withdraw attempts resulted in server timeouts...
The plots start at 1 BTC. That's because we did not collect any data before that. In the first few months we collected data manually, later we moved to automated tools. Those sudden drops are when we moved bitcoins between exchanges.

Our third plot displays our profits during the second half of 2014.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18772348/tulip/bitcointalk%20topic/end.png
The bter account was idle most of the time.

Finally, the folowing plot show all data at once. it's quite messy. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18772348/tulip/bitcointalk%20topic/all.png

If anyone wants to see the raw data (csv), just ask.

We also have an trading report from hitbtc.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18772348/tulip/bitcointalk%20topic/report_09-01-2014_02-06-2015.pdf
According to their report we've traded $240k since 1 September, increasing our USD holding from 1787.9333 to 3138.7409. I think that last figure is a bug on their side, as we went from 3.72 to 7.22 BTC according to our sources which is a slight loss in USD.

Do you live in the Netherlands or in Switzerland? You can visit one of our team members and take a look at the trading history with our own eyes.

I understand the skepticism with all the scams around, but calling names isn't going to make the situation any better. At the very least tell us what we can do to provide the kind of proof you're happy with.

By the way, did you actually read the entire thread? I'm asking because there where exactly 62 seconds between your post and your previous post. I don't believe it's possible to read anything more than the title in this time frame...
