Hah, when I posted my guess it was only 13 days away from hitting 10. Even after the Pirate debacle, in September it was still above 10.

Nice.

One big negative story from the media and we will again be seeing bitcoins selling below $100

You mean in addition to the ones they run every week, or...?

Will NEVER happen.  You might as well have said in this thread that it was going back to 10 cents.

Some big report like "US/UK bans Bitcoins" may cause panic sales

No, never said that that is certainly not possible now

I betcha when it went from 10$ to 7$ these boards were filled with people talking about 'the huge crash' and 'the big bubble' and how 'bitcoin will never reach 10$ again'.

BEWARE of BETCOIN
They are advertising lots around here. Their software freezes on a regular basis and they will not honor any refunds for when the tournaments invariably crash during play. Not a trustworthy place to play poker.

the inevitable collapse of hubris

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they keep laughing, then they start choking on their laughter, and then they go and catch their breath. Then they start laughing even more.

the inevitable collapse of hubris

The hubris of those who trust fiat or the hubris of those who trust Bitcoin?

If you aren't the sole controller of your private keys, you don't have any bitcoins.

First the latter then the former, in that order.

I predict that not only will Bitcoin slide into negative figures by March, it will also give every single holder a prolapsed colon.

Fact.

No. First was when the Ripple hubris collapsed.
