Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Thanks for sharing. I haven't looked at the code yet, but perhaps there is something I can use to improve the speed on the NVIDIA cards.

Look at my avatar :-)
Jokes aside, if someone provides a windows build, I'll be grateful.
I could do it myself but it takes time, my machines are all on linux.

Hi,

Can you put the kernel and sgminer miner together, because I can't seem to get the two to work together?

I don't think they'll work together. Different kernel different params.
We just need someone to compile:

on windows.

http://cryptomining-blog.com/4739-new-sgminer-5-1-0-fork-with-optimized-lyra2re-kernel/ just compiled it.
They get 640 Khash on the radeon r9 285x

You wrote that Tahiti (280x) hashing 1115 Kh/s at 835 core and 1500 mem.

Is it really 100% faster by just adjusting the clockrates? or is there something wrong with the sourcecode.

I have downloaded and tried the miner on 7950 and i'm getting 850 resp. 950 depending on the card model.
engine 1030 and mem 1250.
Must be a very bad config that CRYPTO MINING BLOG is using.

Could be an issue with the 285x: it's a different chipset.

I've developed the miner on omega drivers (14.12).

A tip for the guys who use older drivers with wolf0's binaries.

Since this build is made for the latest drivers, I think you need to copy the latest opencl files(omega dll's) into the sgminer folder before you run the miner.

Or upgrade. But an upgrade could cause the other algos to run at 50% speed.

You should just need to copy the newer opencl.dll (or libopencl.so on linux) in order to make your own bins.
