Its a pretty straigh forward questions. Many here as i see talk about whale dumps, bitcoin thefts that would bring the price much lower and so on..

Well i'm actually scared of bitcoin taking off to prices of > 1000 USD where its much harder for me to aquire them, since i have an ultimate goal of ~100 bitcoins to keep for as long as it takes.
Talk about a bagholder, huh? Well, i cant help myself, and i was wondering am i alone on this one, or is there more people thinking like this.

cheers

Anybody who's not a retard is more scared of a bitcoin rise then a bitcoin fall but it's pretty irrelevant anyway. It obviously doens't mean bitcoin is poised for greatness.

What do you rather lose? $10k (assuming that is your investment amount) or $100k (assuming that is what you will make if bitcoin were to rise up from the dirt.)

Scared of both actually. Seems for people not holding much , it would be the fear of a rise, and people holding much it would be mostly the fall, but if they sell , then both.

Opportunity costs are real, but they need to be compared against other opportunity costs, not actual costs. A biotech IPO may generate similar returns with less risk. For me personally Bitcoin offers the lowest risk/reward ratio, but that is based on my understanding of the underlying commodity/market/economics/utility.  Nobody should invest in something they don't understand merely because others are doing so.

I'd love to better my buy-in position for one more year.
I think we will take off soon though. I have a pretty good position already so I will not complain.

I'm pretty much the same atm, but I'm slowly accumulating little by little as I go.

This is exactly what im thinking. I had great profits with both bitcoin and other cryptos, but the more i am involved with them, the more i started to believe only bitcoin should be kept.
And now, after all that price crashing downwards it seams like a butiful chance to go back in and take a risk again, but what scares me the most is the chance ill end up behind with all the trades i make,
and that price will simple go forward, leaving me behind in one of those trades.
