What is the PoSP algorithm? I am not entirely sure that I perfectly understand this correctly. This one is actually new to me and I thought that I already knew quite a bit about crypto lol, well I do guess not then . Always time to learn something new I guess.

This one is actually new to me and I thought that I already knew quite a bit about crypto lol, well I do guess not then . Always time to learn something new I guess. There is a lot of info that was published online, for more detail, but the main idea of PoSP is to have a scarce and low inflation currency while at the same time offering high rewards for staking. This is acheived by rewarding only the Vaults (wallets) who are staking their coin; people who leave coin at exchanges or close their Vaults forfeit their rewards for someone else. So, instead of having to buy expensive mining equipment that quickly becomes obsolete, all you need is to buy the actual coin; the more CBX you have in your Vault while staking, the better your staking rewards will be.At this moment, with only 20% of all CBX participating in staking, your yearly percentage gain is around 10%. 10% reward in a 2% inflation coin - that's PoSP

Hi all,
Does anyone know for how long is CBX withdrawal unavailable from YoBit? And will it be enabled in soon future?
Thanks!
I don't trade there but as far as I have heard withdrawals have been offl for a while now. Per others on this thread yobit sounds uninterested in fixing or addressing the issue. Cryptopia is your best bet for purchase and withdrawal at this point. Feel free to submit a support ticket to them about the issue. I will. Thank you for the reply!

Official CBX bootstrap updated to today. Download from the OP here or website if you need it. Also, we are still looking for donation for CBX Dev fund, see below: Donate to the CBX Foundation Development Fund:
One critical piece of the outlined 2017 road-map is to put in place a self funding mechanism for continued development. The current plan is to create a 10k superblock at the time of the hardfork occurring in August/September to be used for a dev operated BPN from which interest earnings would fuel ongoing CBX development, advertising, etc. However, this is not ideal as it could potentially create an issue with exchange listing policies or negative perception/issues for investors. Resultant to this, it has been suggested to create a donation address to gather these funds from the community. In response to this suggestion the below address has been created to accept donations. The goal is 10k CBX. We will report periodically on progress towards the goal.

Stage 1 of CBX 2017 Road-map update:
Coding for the hardfork to implement BPNs is almost complete (75%) and will soon begin internal testing. Next steps after completion will be as follows: • Auto bootstrap load / trouble shooting tool integration into Vault build • QR support • GUI redesign and addition of in wallet metrics

Since you're already working on the code, can you add a changeable data directory to make it easier for those who wish to run the wallet/vault on IoT devices?

Since you're already working on the code, can you add a changeable data directory to make it easier for those who wish to run the wallet/vault on IoT devices? Do you mean the -datadir= command line argument? It already exists. I can run it from the command line in linux, but it's sloppy, at least on the versions I'm using. Having an option in software would make things much easier. In order for this kind of technology to be adopted more readily, it's better to keep things as simple as possible from the users perspective. In windows I can add the line on the shortcut, but in Ubuntu I'm having trouble. *edit: Okay I found a workaround. I had to insert a launch icon on the desktop with the right parameters. I used "alacarte" to create the menu item, added the datadir command, and added the icon to the desktop. It now pulls the data from my chosen data directory. This is a pain in the rear though, but it works.

Not sure about the poll results you are referring to, since I didn't make that call, but: Meddling in the blockchain in any way gets CBX kicked out of Cryptopia, that's one reason. Also, many coin investors are strongly against such blockchain intervention for the principle, so we would lose out on chances of expanding. Then you have the team behind helpthecoin, which is extremely helpful, they bring creative ideas to the table and they helped finance the new BPN network project, which if I recall, you were a strong proponent of. Also, helpthecoin has offered to contribute 5000 CBX to the Foundation Dev Fund, without us asking or insisting. I am happy helpthecoin is sitting at the table with us, I think they are part of what CBX needed to reach the next level, just like you are helping with your experience and creative solutions...

So slowly rise in Crytpsy. Only 6 BTCs can double the price / cap of the rest of the market there is nothing to double the price.

Yes, development is well underway. Please refer to our published road-map on OP of this thread and let us know if you have any questions. awesome! i was curious about the masternodes, how is that going? have you guys decided on what amount of coins is needed to run one and what kind of ROI you can expect from the MN's? Also, any idea why I am unable to withdraw CBX tokens from yobit or when it may be fixed? I asked yobit too but who knows when they will respond and knowing them they will say its something on the developers end

Okay seems that is fair enough.. if they donate 5k then that's cool. So long as they are doing something with my cgb cryptsy took that's at least something. I am already starting to recommend cbx on the basis of the proposed road map. I will be much more strongly recommending it as we progress along the road map. This of course is a crazy undervalued project now considering it's fair release pow and stable proven reliable team. Completion of the road map should bring it near to where pivx is really. If we can get the self funding and decentralised governance structure in place then we are going to bring cbx to the real attention of those that know what is important in a CC.
