Correct.

Also, Proof-of-Value page on the website is evolving. Added price widgets for current precious metal spot prices.

The old thread is still available ofcourse to read history of developments. Perhaps worth noting in OP.

On Reddit, someone asks:
Is there a paper on the PoSP algorithm?
https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/3fa1s0/cryptobullion_announces_posp_algorithm_and/

And a question, how is the CBX priceticker going. I've created @CBX_Pricequote but it's not used.

Proof of Value looks interesting, it took a few moments for me to understand it but makes alot of sense now.  One thing i would like to suggest is that seems awkward if someone wanted to verify these printouts/photos so why not also include a QR code on the printout/photo for convenient scanning?
Signed messages that have been posted can also be turned as is into a QR code and as they can store upto 4296 characters, its more then enough room to contain the message in its entirety.

With the QR code included on the printout/photo or just included with the post, it then a really easy to scan with phone to grab the text.  alternatively the QR could be something simpler like a link to the address on blockchain  that is being used in the signed msg.

Hi digit! I think QR codes would be great for this. Once we've got the backing process streamlined, we can build functionality for it directly into the wallet. Printing out a certificate and QR code would be fit nicely with that plan. We could also allow scanning/reading of backing QR codes within the wallet, which would allow the wallet to inform you if the backing is still valid (coins not moved from backing address). Thanks for sharing the idea, it's a nice one Smiley

Yes, although it will not be released until algo implementation.

I just spoke with Alex this morning about it. It still needs some work but is on the short list he has along with forum creation.

Another update tidbit for the community...

We have a Chinese translation in hand now for the front page of the website which we will get posted in short order.

The train is building momentum  Grin

Exciting times! I've been stocking up again lately.

Yes! The cool thing is you can get still a significant participation in the whole CBX money supply for small amounts of USD (small when compared to typical stock market investment purchases). At this time you can still get 1000 CBX which represents .1% of the whole money supply for 260.$. Also, when PoSP is in place, your CBX investment will truly work in your favor, if you allow your wallet to stake...

Thanks! Those will do for now whilst we continue to develop the CBX Proof-of-Value concept and pricing widget.   Smiley

Great. At current rate being paid out, I think they will last a very long time. Perhaps we should ask them to raise it, or let it be very rare?

Forum looks awesome, great stuff!

Yeah I thought the cryptopia payout was a little on the low side also BTCat. Rare is good but for our purposes I think a higher payout would be beneficial.

I would be very carefull with these things. The page you link to is a typical long winding and aggressive salespitch stacking up hundreds of reasons why you should get involved.
For me these type of pages are instant red flag and not without a reason:

http://www.hcplive.com/physicians-money-digest/personal-finance/checkbook-iras-are-on-the-irs-radar

"The checkbook IRA structures will eventually be officially declared illegal by the IRS. The penalty can be as high as the loss of your entire IRA."
