Besides keeping one's wallet open, is there anyting else to do in order to generate stake after 30 days?

Is CBX like PPC, in that if the wallet is encrypted, one has to run a special .bat file to allow the minting to occur?

You will see a lock icon at the top of your Vault as well as at the bottom right:

* Both in locked position = locked and encrypted
* Both in unlocked / open position = unlocked for sending and minting
* Top unlocked / bottom locked position = unlocked for staking only

I have never experienced this. Are you running other software simultaneously to the Vault mining process which may be overloading your memory?

Thanks for the info. Sorry to be a thorn in your side, but don't want to waste 30 days only to find out I wasn't staking at all.

Also, CBX wallet is only using about .5G RAM, I have 8G and the other running programs take up about 2.5G. So I'm not sure either...don't have the problem with any other crypto clients...

Your Vault does not need to be running the 30 days... you just need your bullion to be aged a minimum of 30 days at which point you can unlock your Vault and start to compete for stake.

Agree! Funds should always be kept in your control - this is one of the major advantages of cryptocurrencies. Move them into exchanges for trading and then get them out. We have seen numerous examples of people taking large financial losses by turning over the control of their funds to 3rd parties.

I saw the BE in the OP, but I couldn't find that feature.

Coinplorer provides this (under old name CGB) although I am not certain how close the data is to real-time. https://coinplorer.com/CGB

New poll created to get community feedback regarding CBX transaction fees. Currently fees are destroyed in order to help offset increase in money supply from staking. However, since CBX maximum inflationary rate is so low (2% per year), we would like to explore options for potential uses of these fees.

The options in the poll should be pretty clear except for the last one regarding the P2P Vault. To better explain, this is a planned outreach program to coincide with our mobile Vault launch in which each mobile Vault download will install with 10 Bulls (0.1 CBX). We feel this is a nice incentive to encourage downloading and use of the mobile Vault - especially by those new to cryptocurrency.

Because I think this is really needed, development and outreach to the community costs money and with this CBX don't need to ask too much for donations.

I don't know where pre-installed 0.1 cbx should be paid from. Aren't you afraid that when the price is higher people will install hundreds of wallets or even more with some hack?
