any chance of an updated (march2017) bootstrap?

CryptoChainer link is from dec

Here is a link to a bootstrap (March 15, 2017).
https://mega.nz/#F!JF423AaS!JD5rfzWPC8u_r-ffsRQJrQ

I have a note out to alex to update the trouble shooting tool. Is that what you were referring to by 'CryptoChainer link'?

thanks for that link, re-scanning now as balance initially came up as 0.00 even though all txs were still visible.

how long does a -rescan generally take?

E2A - about 4 hrs is the answer, not sure what the posters below are waffling about 1s & 2s for....

Sorted now, thanks again!!

also, this is what i was referring to yesterday    - http://cryptochainer.com/dir/

where buy cbx these days?

Hi, orco#2.
You can get CBX at Cryptopia, NovaExchange and Yobit, although the latter seems to be less reliable according to recent posts.
Check the OP for more info.

I tried to check their wallet in Yobit and it's not working? Seems like only Cryptopia is reliable then.

I would go with Cryptopia, they have been solid throughout the entire time CBX has been listed.

Curious fact!

In cryptopia: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=CBX_BTC The wall CBX decreased from 30 000 to 20 000 CBX in the last few weeks that there is market to already ...

Did someone seriously invest? The question that remains in the air ...

It's good when less people are willing to sell but I think more important is we need competition. I would like to ask coinholders and interested investors to place more buyorders.
Dedicate a small amount of btc, even if it's 0.01 btc and place it above the highest. If we all do that there will be more pressure towards the direction that we want it and our coins
get more valuable. Let's support eachother instead of be in eachothers way.

One day these CBX will be perceived as a lot more valuable and rare again. Buy some, hold some and support some, then we get a good vibe again.

Someone in community took some initiative and now we're open to discuss what's needed for marketing efforts. Welcome to post some ideas if you have.
We can think of putting a marketingteam together aside of the devteam.

If anyone likes to volunteer in a team or support with microtasking please send a pm so we can discuss. We can create
a Trello board or other planning board with a to-do list and anyone would be able to pick the tasks he likes to do whenever he wants.

This is not paid but solely an effort to raise the value of our network and investments. We can attract more investors by teaming up and invite others to join
through social media, forumposts and any website that can enlist CBX. We need people to connect with these websites and put CBX in the spotlights.

no point marketing

what is there to market? a slightly different version of all the pos3 coins all over this board.

fork the coin and give it something people presume they need and want

get on the latest fads

anon, masternodes, basically anything like that is popular and going x10

you need to be on the pulse in crypto

this coin was the darling of 2013 it has simply sunk and sunk

From what I have gathered, the sale of the Cryptsy coins has occurred in agreement and distribution should be in about a month. I personally communicated with the party handling the sale and it sounds like the purchaser of CBX bought a bundle of the low liquidity coins. What this individual intends is yet to be identified but they will now be the largest stake holder in CBX (outside of the escrow for SPK).

My next question will these coins still be made useless with the introduction of the new chain?

We have discussed this. There will be no making useless of these coins. They exist on the CBX network and that will never change.

There is however a potential of creating a new coin / chain that does not include these coins but nothing is in motion towards this possibility at this time.

Indeed. I believe we should wait and see what happens to the CBX soon held by the new buyer, and try to figure out what their intentions are if possible. He may as well be a well-intentioned investor, and that should pose no problem whatsoever to CBX.

Someone has info on the new buyer?
