There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Maybe I am missing something but why start another pool when you already had one with the clear result that 2000CBX would be the size preferred from the community?

The result was actually about even between 1k and 2k, however, the majority of votes were placed prior to our determination/explanation that a maximum of 250k CBX could be allocated into BPNs. This fact means there is another variable to consider in this vote as VonSpass explained.

2000 CBX = 125 max BPN
1000 CBX = 250 max BPN
500 CBX = 500 max BPN
250 CBX = 1000 max BPN

The amount to operate a BPN is one factor, however the number of potential operational BPN should also be considered in this decision.

When does voting end for masternode collateral?

This has not been determined but we will give notice before conclusion.

Thank you for the clarification.
But still have a question, saying that a maximum of 250k CBX could be allocated into BPNs means that if at one point all the the 250k are full  even someone that will buy enough CBX for run a master node (2000, 1000, 500 or 250) will not be able to do so.
Don't you think that this is a disincentive to who will be willing to accumulate CBX even at higher price?

True a point to be considered , maybe nodes could be bought for a premium from current BPN hodler, so get yours quick don't delay

Same, i run 3 wallet, one on linux small and cheap vps to stake, one on 10 years old core duo laptop, and one on a cheap amd 4 core desktop without any problems.

But you are right an electrum server to run on coinomi app or on a light electrum wallet will be good even they dont stake. I'm thinking since a week or two of that.
In the same time you are wrong, you dont have to blame peoples or community for what exist now else just do it yourself. Peoples dont work for you, dont wait others peoples create value for you, create it yourself

while i appreciate your response, i wasnt blaming as such, merely pointing out the ongoing wallet issue is not a problem elsewhere.

and keeping my few coins on an exchange is almost as good as having them in my coinomi wallet.

to assume my computers need looking over is an avoidance of the fact/heart of the matter.

fix it, dont ignore it   (or whatever)

Ok, no problem we can get you working. Please reference the OP of this thread for download links or go to the cryptobullion.io website and follow the below steps. (I am going to assume you have no coins on your current wallet.dat since you stated you keep your coins at the exchange, however if you do, please backup your wallet.dat first so you do not lose you coins. Then delete your old CryptoBullion files so we can give you a fresh start.)

1. Download the Vault
2. Launch the Vault
3. Close the Vault
4. Download the bootstrap
5. Drag the 2 downloaded files into your CryptoBullion roaming folder and replace the existing ones (also you can reinsert your wallet.dat at this point if it was backed up)
6. Relaunch Vault
7. Allow to sync

Please let me know if further detail is needed.

The Crypto Bullion concept is unlike the inflationary fiat system, and this is intentional. We operate within scarce conditions of coin generation with our currently less than 1 million coins and a low 2% annual inflation rate. BPNs will operate similarly (without a limitless supply). If all BPN spots are full, investors will still have the option to stake via PoSP or to enter into the queue to secure a BPN once one becomes available. As the price goes up we will naturally experience BPN owners that are willing to sell their spots to those offering to pay a higher coin cost, so in my view this is a self correcting problem.

If down the road we identify this as an issue, we will review alternative options via our self-governance function and achieve a consensus solution.

Given CBX's historic levels of participation since PoSP was introduced, and the theoretical amount of lost coin, I highly doubt that the BPN participation among the market will reach full levels quickly.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/#!extraction

As CBX's price goes up, and more people take note of CBX, then a new equilibrium will form with more BPNs; but that's down the line.

I've had a syncing problem few weeks ago. I repaired it with the repairtool that is offered in the OP of this thread.
With the tool you can download and apply the bootstrap at once. The second option repaired it for me which is rescanning the blocks.
After that it should work. If you still miss transactions you can use the 'repairwallet' option in debug window.

I don't trade there but as far as I have heard withdrawals have been offl for a while now. Per others on this thread yobit sounds uninterested in fixing or addressing the issue. Cryptopia is your best bet for purchase and withdrawal at this point.

Feel free to submit a support ticket to them about the issue.

Let's assume the BPN amount is 2k, and I have 3k in my wallet, would that mean 2k would stake at the BPN rate and 1k at the regular rate, or would all of my 3k stake at the BPN rate?

If I had enough CBX to run 2 BPN will I need to run two separate wallets on 2 PC's, or could I run them on the same PC?

As CBX's price goes up, and more people take note of CBX, then a new equilibrium will form with more BPNs; but that's down the line.

I kind of doubt that, from what I see even now there is an 18% staking and have the feeling that most of the people staking now already has enough CBX for run a masternode so they will.

If you add all the people that have CBX sitting on exchange that are not staking right now, not because they are not interested but because the current value of the coin is not an enough incentive for keep the wallet open on a PC 24h, they will probably jump on the ship if there is some nice price movement or the reward for staking will increase with the masternode.

On the other side I see your point and probably with a nice price movement many long time CBX holder will take profit, and due to the higher price it will be more difficult to accumulate enough CBX for run a masternode, but in my opinion this solution could work only with an higher requirement of CBX for run a BPNs, probably 1000/2000 will do the trick.

I have to say, I agree with you on that point! Not too worried about 100-200+ nodes running the network, I think it's enough.

But let's allow the poll to run it's course and see what the results are...
