There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

More profitable hardware coming soon? no

Is it worth buying Asic's now? maybe

is electricity going to keep being an issue?  alway a yes

will there be better Asic's taking less electricity? maybe

Right now as I see it a .3 or a .2 watt miner will be delayed for the common buyer.

S-1 to S-3 was  7 months
S-3 to S-5 was  5 months

What did this speed up do? crash the btc price

asic builders will not put new product out as fast.  look for more then 7 months this time..

So maybe July or June  Rather then March or April.

As for buying gear now  if you find a cheap price  and have cheap power = buy.

last two power cost is always the game.

truly better asic's already work Asic Miner has built test boards well under .4 watts a gh.  The question is can he build a good machine at a good price sooner then MAY of this year.  I do not think he can do it.
