Bitcoin analysts says that Bitcoin price will have an imminent slump in days to come. I see these kinds of posts on a regular basis, and I have to wonder whether any of the posters actually believe it, or are just trolling/pumping/dumping. On the remote possibility that you actually believe what you're posting, let me point out that if any "analyst" could accurately predict that the price was going to go up or down, they would become very rich very quick. The price is what the price is, and reflects the sum total of all expectations of rise/fall.

How Long Will Bitcoin Endure? How long? How long can it hold its price? How long can it stand its value? Is the end near? Or will it just be remembered in the statue? It will last till 2140 when all the coins are mined then probably die , we can't see that tho , since we will be all dead by then I'm a time traveler, no lie. Bitcoin lasts till 2262. Thats the year when the Orion Colonialists destroy earth's blockchain network with CBBs. (Crypto-Breaker Bombardments). We lost (estimated) 405 million private keys (estimated to hold 7.4 million bitcoins) in that attack. Currently (well, back in my time), the Orion Colonialists have the only working blockchain network in this galactic sector and now control one of the four trade quadrants. Believe it!

Until the internet is gone. There is no reason why bitcoin won't last or be around. Its value is unpredictable but it will continue to be widely used. There was a document someone had posted on here where a gentleman suggested that bitcoin could potentially see 50 million users on the network by the end of 2015.

The price is what the price is, and reflects the sum total of all expectations of rise/fall. An imminent slump in days to come? I read that as "might be time to buy some bitcoin soon". I've always thought that the media shit-talking about bitcoin was as much a delay tactic as anything. Until the companies and banks that rule this country they all need to make sure there is a big seat at the trough before saying it is a good thing. Same deal with medical / recreational MJ, the naysayers were simply figuring out how to invest in it and profit around the country. Who here is ready for the first chain dispensaries? Not me, cause I don't do drugs... only weed. Personally, anytime btc is under or around 200 it is a buy. Then it inevitably rolls up to $250+ and at 260+ it is a sell. Short sighted, but I'm going to let btc from my mining efforts stack up. If I keep at it and stay dilligent I should be able to mine a whole coin (via pools) by August, 2015. Whoop whoop!

bitcoin can lasts maybe forever, can not be destroyed, but more important thing is what will be the price according to other currencies in the future, as always will be many currencies out there, fiat or virtual.

How long would Bitcoin last? A really short time.. I mean.. 10,000 years? When another new technology came out which can replace Bitcoin. Just like how Bitcoin would replace fiat in the next few years..
You really believe that? Bitcoin might be gone tomorrow. Bitcoin analysts says that Bitcoin price will have an imminent slump in days to come. Hahahahahahaha

I don't know about the rest here but when browsing through past bitcoin posts, people has been saying that the coin is going to be dead soon and that was years ago during the slump. Fact is when we survive that long through the test of time it shows that those people were dead wrong about bitcoin.

The blockchain won't be very useful if the miners cease and you're the only person using it. The blockchain will slowly fizzle away if something superior comes along. Some are trolling, some are just niave, and some are just looking for any sort of clues about what will happen. Until the internet is gone. There is no reason why bitcoin won't last or be around. Its value is unpredictable but it will continue to be widely used. There was a document someone had posted on here where a gentleman suggested that bitcoin could potentially see 50 million users on the network by the end of 2015.
Again I think the only way bitcoin will die is if something else comes along that is far better and people will abandon bitcoin en mass. Forever until me die Are you Jamaican?

As long as someone still mine it. How long can it hold its price? What price? Current? No one knows. How long can it stand its value?Same. Is the end near? No. Or will it just be remembered in the statue? It will be remembered ofc. For a long time.

If Bitcoin fails it means we either failed to find a system that's post-fiat or another crypto got success.

I guess it will last for more 4-5 years but I am not sure if it will have a bright future as of now. It has definitely gained more popularity over these years but it would be good if it can last for longer than 5 years

So, all the coins will eventually be mined, right? (What year was it again? I forgot...) And the only incentive to mine will be the fees. How much would the fees be? They must be rather big to give enough incentive to mine...
