It only makes the game "look" easier to win, but in reality waiting till after an expire makes no sense. The sooner one makes a deposit the better, regardless of payouts or expire of other deposits. What will benefit this game the most is to gain many more players. Difficulty(tm) will not decrease the way you suspect and the longer contributors wait the more the difficulty(tm) will grow. I only hope that a large and ever growing difficulty(tm) will not dissuade ppl from contributing. Where difficulty(tm) is the "perceived" measurement of likely hood of reward, based _,-*"erroneously"*-,_ on how many BTC are currently in the pay queue. Reward is dictated solely by new contributions made after a deposit. Previous deposits do not directly effect the likely hood of a reward. Though a long list of unexpired deposits may cause ppl to not contribute, this would be a mistake on their part. There will never be a better time to make a deposit than now. Nobody with 1BTC will let that deposit expire, instead the owner of the deposit will contribute for free basically. This will expand the pay queue. |

If we let the .3 and .4 expire it will all collapse. People will lose confidence in the game. So far only small amounts have expired.

Seconded. Many of the problems that exist in other games are corrected by this system, here is a short list. 1. Start race. There are no set times were it is best to make a deposit. It's not possible to commit a false start, for example. 2. Deposits are recorded when they are confirmed, unconfirmed transactions are not in play. No more double spend or zero fee attacks. 3. Transaction zapping. Many other games zap all the transactions to start a new round, with this game you can re-post your transaction and continue playing. 4. Stable deposit address, many/all other games change their address every round. Who is to say the website may get hacked to posts attackers private address for the next round. 5. Fee and Payout transactions are combined. This saves BTC with lower mining fees. |

When the .3 bet expired the .3 was not added to the pot to pay out the .4 above it. This goes against what was posted in the OP and what the site operator has said himself. What gives? For the record that was my bet and I expected the .3 to pay out the .4, the wallet would have enough to pay out the .4 if the .3 was added to it, as was advertised. Please respond. From the op "Although Nine9 do not take the expired transactions coins they are left in the game to pay out the active transactions of players!" So, actually it's like when the TXNs expire, it's like a new round started already?
Exactly! I mean that when the previous txns expire, then it's a good chance for anyone to get in and get paid?
The difficulty is lowered as the system no longer needs to pay out those expired TX's so yes chances are increased. Also, what about those expired transactions? Are those funds kept by you or are they used to pay the next line?
The funds are not taken by Nine9, they are left in the system to pay out the next in line etc. (Stated in OP as well I believe) Happy to answer any more questions or queries that you or anyone has, just fire away. These are the current stats. Total BTC Deposited: 60.22356755 BTC Progress to next payout: 0.24023589 / 0.52020000 As you can see, if the .3 was added to the wallet it would be able to pay out the .4 bet.  |

The wallet needed 0.5 to pay out a 0.6, so there was 0.16 at most. Progress to next payout indicated that clearly, once you understand it's the equation to calculate progress as a percent/100. I suck at math, but there was no way to pay out either the 0.3 or 0.4... And the 0.3 was first in line to be paid.
The 0.51436220(top) paid out the 0.53700000(last) and something similar happened to these deposits... They pay out something much older.

The .3 funds were added to the wallet and spent at the time of the deposit, about 99hrs ago. |

It is highly recommended, especially if you frequent faucets or mine for your coins that you combine them, the reason
being is that these coins have multiple outputs and it is difficult to determine which address belongs to the user with
the high range of outputs. To fix this, send all of your coins to an address you own and then wait for it to confirm.
Upon confirmation, all of your coins should then be from your output only, now feel free to send it to Nine9.
It's OK to use vin[0]. We don't expect you to look-up every vintxid and choose the largest or anything. Your target should be the reference client using either GUI, sendtoaddress, or sendmany. |
