Hello
Somebody heard about minirs for algorithm of CryptoNight(XMR, FCN, DSH, INF8) similar on ebay ?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gridseed-GC3355-ASIC-Scrypt-SHA-256-USB-Dual-BTC-LTC-Miner-Silver-GUARANTEED-/331330653898?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d24d88eca

Or the mining only by use of GPU and CPU is now possible ?
Thanks !

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

There is no ASIC h/w for mining XMR/Cryptonote coins. The only way to do so is via CPU/GPU. From GPUs I got the best performance with Nvidia cards on minergate's native miner (windows 8.1, 64bit) while on CPUs the absolute best miner is Claymore's miner (again on win8.1, 64bit). I'm getting about 200H/s on an i5 and about 400H/s up for an i7.

You can find Claymore's CPU miner here:

and Minergate here:

Cheers.

I already use Claymore's GPU miner on minergate.com pool. But I looking for opportunity to raise hash rate. You use Claymore's GPU and Claymore's CPU miner at same time ?

I have 3 miners. 2 of them are on CPU (i5s) (no suitable video cards) and 1 is a GTS450. On the GTS450 I'm using both CPU and GPU miner (i7).
