SUMMARY AND VISION

In today’s world of education and learning, large divides and gaps exist. From educational systems that have been reduced to standardized testing, removing the ability to really “teach” and instruct children (instead focusing kids on how to pass an exam), to a lack of support for those parents who have chosen to teach their own children… the system is broken. On top of that budget cuts and program restrictions are removing some of the most vital components to the development of an individual.

Some families (and individuals) have taken it upon themselves to educate, choosing instead to focus on teaching and learning in ways that are vastly different from the public system. Some (albeit very few) schools teach and educate in ways that actually encourage and foster the individual growth, leaving those who “self teach” or “home-educate”...on their own, both from a resources standpoint and financial standpoint.

Cryptocurrency is still in it’s infancy and in that..there are a lot of people who view it (and use it) as a means for selfish gain. However, cyrptocurrenices have also opened up brand new doors and opportunities and have brought people and communities together, building towards something good. Like most things in life, cyptocurrency in itself, is neither good nor bad, HOW it’s used and for WHAT it is used, is up to the individual. It can be used for good, and much good. Of course, with cryptocurrencies...and ones that are solid, stable, and growing, there is an opportunity to create a lot of wealth. What the developers, foundation, and those that posses the coin do with that wealth increase, ultimately, is a big question.

The Netcoin Foundation (from day one) was established to be a reflection of the coin itself. Netcoin has always been more than a cryptocurrency. It’s a way of life, and part of the Foundation’s concern has always been “how to give back and help, beyond just freeing people to be able to transact on their own terms.”

Many of the foundation members are parents and have kids of varying ages. As we’ve discussed about the future of Cryptocurrencies, Netcoin, and how to continue to innovate and build for the next generation, we began to see a common thread: A care and concern for the education of the next generation. The more we brainstormed, the more we agreed that Crypto, and specifically NETCOIN, was poised to be a medium by which education and learning could be provided to those who wanted and deserved to have access to the resources needed.


As Cryptocurrencies are becoming more and more a part of daily life (just like the internet has become), we want to be a resource for anyone (not just kids) to understand cryptocurrencies, what they are are and what they can do.


INITIAL PLANS

Netcoin, and the Netcoin Foundation plan to:


1) Establish a standard within the Crypto Community where one coin is speaking up to make a difference in the education sector by:

2) Putting our Coin where Our Mouth is.

We have Established the Netcoin Educational Trust (N.E.T).
-Every Foundation Member will donate a percent of current holdings into the Netcoin Educational Trust (N.E.T), and the stake (interest) earned will continue to help fund the trust.

-Every Foundation Member will donate a percentage of their stake rewards to N.E.T (Stake For Education… or S4E), forever.

-N.E.T is not only a monetary resource for families, children, and individuals but also begin to open up new doors within the education realms.

-Provide an E-Learning Platform where children and individuals or any age are able to work through various topics, and as they complete tasks, are rewarded after demonstrating their mastery of subjects and topics

-Provide an online store where home educators can obtain supplies and resources they need to help their children's education (goods obtained via NET)


The Netcoin Wallet will be unveiling an S4E (Stake For Education) Feature.... Every netcoin user will have the option (and ability) to donate a percent of their stake rewards to help support children’s education by adding to the Netcoin Educational Trust (N.E.T)

Additionally, the NETUCATE N.E.T will accept:
Donations of NETCOIN
Donations of any other cryptocurrency as well.

Oh no the wallet function is just a way for people to give a little to the cause, but we'll not rely solely on that, there are many avenues we can take to help fund it. Advertising will be another way... The next step now will be to start building an information website regarding this and then get to making the learning platform. We think it's going to be a great project to work on and we certainly have the talent on board to pull it off.

We have some more announcements to make soon too regarding going full POS etc. We just recently released a multipool that pays out in NET, so we don't see much need for POW mining seeing as how you can now mine NET with various algos via the pool. But anyway, more on that in the coming days

Crypto's in general are shaking up the way "things are done."  We are so excited to hopefully make the turn in the education realms.

Mine too! They're going to be the ones that take over the crypto baton for us old folk after all.

Well the first step on this road will be to make a website regarding this and we'll be starting that in the coming days, currently we're just working on a wallet update to make some changes here or there. It will likely require a hard fork to implement some of them but of course we'll keep everyone updated about that on our main thread.

One of our investors has been going around and making some contacts here or there regarding NETUCATE and so we'll see what comes of that. I believe they even contacted the Bill Gates Foundation as they are doing some work in this kind of field.

Netcoin has always been about doing something good and we feel NETUCATE fits in so nicely with this scene. Home educating or even self educating normally comes from some desire of freedom as does crypto, at least for me personally and I know a lot of the guys I work with feel the same way too.

If all goes to plan I think this could help to propel the whole thing forwards and benefit a lot of people. To be part of something like that is just priceless.

We'll keep you guys updated on our progress, we have some bits to finish up with the new wallet right now and then we can devote a lot of time to this project. Again thanks for showing your support.

That is something interesting.

I hope good interesting!  Netcoin has been trying to "do" something more than just crypto and innovate on new features (That are so coin related).  We've always tried to be more....and it's time crypto looked outward at how to use the "intrinsic" properties of the coin/features...to benefit others and help. 

We're excited about this...and we'll need all the support we can get!

Netcoin (as you mentioned..thanks Mig   is not a new coin.  It's actually one of the older ones (Mid 2013 is when it launched), and it's had the same DEV on it since basically day 3 of the coins life.  Since then, many have come and gone, but over the past 16 months a team has assembled that is dedicated and committed to building something more than a coin.
