Just got my sig payout, looking to pick up a few ASICMiner USB's, or ANTMiners, if a good price...

PM me if you have one.

Thanks!

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Why USB miners? Those are so just terrible.

Cause I have $10, and have nothing to do with it, and the only miner I can get is a usb miner.

Why not hold it and save, when you get paid from next months sig campaign and keep adding to your stash and buy a miner with a chance of profitability.

The correct advice is either this or to just hold your BTC. Mining can all too easily be a losers game.

Or he could have a usb miner to play the bitcoin lottery which would be like a chance he'll get a block in 10-20 years. Something like winning the powerball

I have 2 USB miners that are sat in a draw as a kind of keepsake, you can buy them from eBay but they are ridiculously overpriced.

Thanks for the advice, I know I am not going to roi on a USB miner. An Antminer S5 might roi, but it will be years before my sig campaign can afford it...
