He's legendary member and looking at his posts, he doesn't seem much of a troll. Maybe he had some non-public info, maybe he was/is working on some big project, or maybe he was just drunk-posting. I bet nothing gonna happen on 15th, it never does. Hope he's alright tho. He has not been active since the OP. |

If the special thing about the 15th is tax return time, I'm not sure if it would make even a small dent on Bitcoin... Will the volume coming in be enough to change anything?

No, when people get refunds they submit their returns early (typically February) and have their refunds well before April 15. The laggards are almost all the ones who owe additional taxes. So I'm fairly certain that's not it. Danny has a record of being a very helpful and informative poster here, so it's odd that he's gone missing for so long. I don't think the news will turn out to be nothing or something stupid. It's just a question (IMHO) of whether the news will be big for all of us, or just from his personal perspective. We'll see soon enough! |
