RustyRyan's 3.0% Weekly Term Deposits
Low Risk Weekly Term Deposits at  2.5 - 3.0% Interest. No compounding.

Current Availability: 704 BTC
Available Deposit Amounts: 10 - 200 BTC
Minimum Term Length: 4 Weeks

Deposit Options:

  • 4+ Week Term: 2.5% Weekly Interest

  • 8+ Week Term: 3.0% Weekly Interest

The current interest rates will be maintained until further notice.

*Weekly Term starts Monday at 00:00 UTC every week. Payouts are made on Sundays. New Deposits are taken anytime before start of weekly term. If Depositing before, keep in mind you won't start earning interest until the weekly term starts.

To Start:

1) PM me with the following:
  • Deposit Amount
  • Term Length to lock in deposit
  • Repayment Bitcoin Address for your Interest Payments + Deposit Return
2) Send your deposit to the Deposit Address I give you

I reserve the right to return your deposit fully back to you under any circumstance with the appropriate interest for the current week.

What are coins used for?
  • Short Term Investments
  • Mining Operations
  • Private Lending
  • Trading

Why should I trust you?
  • A current total cap of 2000 BTC is in place in helping to take only as many deposits as I am able to handle.
  • Currently have a Credit Rating by PartrickHarnett on WPW (Who Pays What).
  • As users receive weekly interest payments I ask of them to please confirm here on the forum as feedback.
  • I earn trust one deposit at a time. I reward your trust with rather decent interest. In a few months I hope any doubt will clear.

A 25% reserve for total deposits (pro-rata) is kept protecting depositors against complete failure. Investments are always spread across the board to drastically reduce risk. This is a formality of course, but must be in place for the protection of my depositors. For the same reason, a "dead-man switch" is also in place.

I appreciate the calmness. I am not as new to the forum as you may think. Yes I might have the same reaction towards someone else, but I made the decision to make whatever posts I have towards the future about this service, or actually contributing to the forum instead of attempting to climb to a level to simply satisfy people.

I'm bored, Let me help you build trust with your depositors.

What's your full name ?
What country / state do you reside in ?
What's your facebook page ?
Can you post a pic of yourself handing a paper with your btc name on it ?

I imagine if you did the above, it will go along way in people accepting your low post count / new join date.

Or you could just ignore me... I don't mind. Like i said, im just bored. ( working late on a saturday does that )

Additionally...
How much Pirate exposure do you have?
Shoe on head?
Have you ever sold or bought anything for BTC and had the other person send first?
#bitcoin-otc rep?

Most important, though, is getting a credit rating from PatrickHarnett.

I recommend asking me for a signature from my GPG key before doing a trade. I will NEVER deny such a request.

While my name will probably be known through my ventures here, I'd prefer to not have it posted and searchable on the forum.
I reside in California, USA for those that would like to know.
I don't as of now have #bitcoin-otc or trading rep.
Pirate is not involved in my operation.
I log in with the same ip everyday, and do not plan on going anywhere. This is a reason to why I donated right at the beginning, but that doesn't prove anything/everything, I understand.
I can only provide the warranty the same way other deposit takers do, one deposit at a time. Thanks for stopping by.

Then I wish you good luck, and I highly advise you to visit this thread:

Who Pays What?

Read it over, send PatrickHarnett your details, and you'll be added to "New Deposit Takers." This is great for advertising. Then, send PatrickHarnett the data he needs for the Credit Rating. If you can get a good credit rating from him, I'll deposit with you, because I trust him a lot.

I have provided the pro-forma pm and details and Rusty has declined for now.  I have replied to him that it would probably be a good exercise for him to go through it anyway.

There are several others on the WPW list that have not responded, and I keep getting requests for recommendations about which ones I would trust or not.  I think that's a poll I could add to the thread, so will do that shortly.

Information received.  Rusty has provided some extra information that I think he should include in his OP regarding asset backing and BTC income.  Also, at this time, with no deposits or liabilities, the ratios are not useful (it's a chicken and egg situation).

This means I have set up the service so lenders are not at risk. I will make 3% interest payments for as long as possible. If for some reason I see in the future that I can not take any additional deposits because of risk then I will not, meaning I will not take what I can not handle. I have shared with PatrickHarnett (for Credit Rating) my BTC Reserve and BTC Monthly Income to back the deposit system.

I'm not sure this claim is valid unless you match your deposits in an escrow.

You can't guarantee yourself against your own default unless you have an escrow.

Hi Rusty,

Your intentions may be good but if you expect people to invest thousands of dollars in you without even supplying a name / photo / some sort of identification while having such a recent join date then that's just not going to happen. Your short term success in attracting (big) depositors will be an uphill battle IMHO as people will just gamble their money with Pirate for the same risks at a much higher yield.

just trying to help

Honest bob,

Well you asked me to elaborate, what I can tell you is how I will conduct my business, not much more. In the end it is always up to the lender's discretion when dealing with any deposit taker. I should have my credit rating posted by PatrickHarnett shortly on the WPW thread.

stuff

What you can tell me is how you guarantee your deposits in any meaningful way. Otherwise you will lose at least one potential depositor.

As it stands, your "guarantee" is wholly misleading (except that you're not misleading anyone on this forum).

While working with RustyRyan today it became obvious that start-ups present an interesting issue: with no deposits or liabilities, they tend not to produce meaningful metrics.

Yes, and I suggest a minimum of 100 BTC on deposit before a rating gets published.  I added some ideas in the WPW thread.

You have set a record of sorts - least evidence, and fewest posts - I feel like depositing some coins - can I have a deposit address?

Just for the record, I am not endorsing RustyRyan's deposits, and only threw in a few coins to see how it runs.  i.e. research funding.

Micon, thank you for your concern.  However, I am sure you can appreciate every time you play a hand of poker you might win or lose.  In this case (actually in several cases) I put up small stakes to see what would happen.  In the same way, I might go to a movie and at the end I may have received my money's worth, but I don't get my money back.

Minimum deposit is currently 1 BTC and the minimum term length is only 1 week for this reason.

Post history looks extremely scammy.

What are the specifics on your mining operation? What do you have, what do you intend to buy? What pool are you mining to?

1) please do not support obvious scams

2) here there is no movie, you can buy a ticket but the theater is empty and nothing is on the screen.

I'm a bit confused... I'm testing the market for several deposit takers with relatively small amounts. What are you talking about?

This shit is really getting old. Why don't you try going to a casino and walking around the various gaming tables incessantly telling the players what their odds are and how it is just one big scam in the casino's favour. It wouldn't take long before the casino throws you out or someone punches you in the chops. I wish we could do that here.

Reminder:

The next weekly term starts in about 36 hours.

I will accept incoming deposits for the next week no later than Sunday 24:00 UTC (i.e. 5 PM PST), so please get deposits in before then.

EDIT: You may deposit after this time, but you will not start earning interest until the following Sunday.

Thank you.

I've stated that payouts occur at this time, and any deposits that come in I would like before then. If deposited later in the week, interest will not start until the following Sunday. This way I have all interest payments and deposit returns on the same day every week. Sundays are when I have the most time available to manage deposits. Not sure what is hard to get.

I know you run the payouts on the same day (that's pretty common), was curious why deposits would be treated that way as well.

All I mean is one could deposit later but interest would not start until the following Sunday. So for those that don't want to waste a week of interest, they should deposit before the time I have provided. I've made an edit to that post to make this more clear.

Just another reminder that new depositors that wish to get in on this week's interest should do so in about 5 hours. Deposit Returns and Interest Payments for this past week will also have been done by then. Thank you.

Edit: never mind! Didn't look closely at the address.

Please excuse me for butting in, but it appears that he sent the coins that you sent him with your withdrawal address to another address which has remained dormant. Is that address that he sent the 5.125 coins as well as the .75 coins your withdrawal address?

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending

Micon, thank you for your concern.  However, I am sure you can appreciate every time you play a hand of poker you might win or lose.  In this case (actually in several cases) I put up small stakes to see what would happen.  In the same way, I might go to a movie and at the end I may have received my money's worth, but I don't get my money back.

In re. bold text: Although true, that doesn't mean that poker is a 50/50 proposition. Remember, poker is a NOT a card game played with people. It's a people game played with cards. A Grand Master Poker Player (if such an animal exists) would never have to look at his/her cards to beat the game, albeit he/she may have to pretend to look at their cards unless, again, he/she has such a read on a player that he/she may somehow point out that in some particular hand(s) he/she is playing blindly.

My last foray in RL poker, I started to play this way on occasion, especially when I had an excellent read on an opponent, coupled with position and chip count, and didn't want to see a 2-7 off-suit in the hole, thus possibly giving away information.

Believe it or not, when playing online poker, a GMPP can do the same thing with the adding advantage that not a single player would be aware that he/she is not looking at their hole cards.

The reason for coming to this thread is because I'm recently become fond of the name Ryan.

is that the midnight between saturday and sunday, or the midnight between sunday and monday?

What it probably should read is Sunday 23:59 UTC. In other words the midnight between Sunday and Monday. I'll clear that up in the OP.

@ Bogidu, Kais, phantitox,

My apologies gentlemen, I've been rather busy the past day and a half. Yes the offer is still open. I'll get to the several PMs shortly.

OP Rates have been tweaked based on term length. All current depositors will continue their terms with the previously agreed rate of a flat 3%.

Anyone that deposits this week will receive the original offer of 3.0% for their entire term regardless of deposit size. After Sunday, new rate requirements will kick in.

PatrickHarnett suggested that to have a meaningful CR you would need 100 BTC or more in deposits. You seems to have more than double that at this point and have been operating for a while. Have you done anything further or have intentions to seek and receive a CR in the WPW thread? I would be interested in making a deposit but only with a favorable CR from PatrickHarnett.

To those that have shown interest in getting in on next week's interest with the original rate offer, there are less than 12 hours to deposit before the cut-off.

Interest payments will be sent out before then as well.

What are coins used for?
-Short Term Investments
-Bitcoin Projects
-Private Loans

It doesn't make sense to describe the use of an investment as being an "investment", because you already said that. Around and around in circles... for what point? And at least describe a bitcoin project, for chrissakes.

For a new depositor, quite respectable and a solid entry given he has only been "in business" a month, has a small and growing customer base.

I would like to know under what circumstances you would not pay back 100% of your depositors' principal. If you suffered a significant default or loss, would you make up for it out of pocket, or pass the loss along to your depositors?

This upcoming week is the first week new interest rate requirements will kick in (2.5% for 4 weeks+ and 3.0% for 8 weeks+).

Those with current deposits with me will not have their rates changed in any way.

yes, another Ponzi with an excellent credit rating.

PatrickHarnett is doing a ton of harm with these "AA-" creidt ratings to obvious Ponzi's

3% weekly.  Sheesh.  We just did this and now we are going to do it again until this culture of scamming stops.

LOL. No. It's not really that simple. You have to donate a hundo to the forum and log in from the same IP address every day and THEN people will be certain that you're on the up and up and send 600 bitcoins to you. Claiming to have a static IP in your "why I'm trustworthy" section is key.

Anyways, your bet makes no sense as you'd earn as much money collecting interest from RR @ 3%/week as you would if you were to win that bet.

Right. you have to buy trust first. Good point. He made that money back after one week on the forum.

Quote

Please, this has never deterred scammers before. Many scammers steal first, then worry about the consequences later. Everyone knew the identity of Pirate, Shakaru, Bruce Wagner, the Bitcoinica peeps, and Bernie Madoff. If he lives in a dorm, he's probably not worried at all. Or maybe he gets coffee at McDonald's every morning and uses their wifi.

Quote
and THEN people will be certain that you're on the up and up and send 600 bitcoins to you.

I guess that really is how it works, huh? Sad, really.

Quote

Non-sequitur wrapped in a non-sentence, awesome.

Quote
Anyways, your bet makes no sense

It made sense for Vandroiy. He's $50,000 richer now.

Quote
as you'd earn as much money collecting interest from RR @ 3%/week as you would if you were to win that bet.

I didn't do the numbers, but I think 8 months is pretty close to doubling your money at 3% a week non-compounding.

P.S. I'm not going to Micon this thread like a jackass, I've done enough of that already. We can take this discussion to some other thread so as not to distract the other serious investors. The vast majority of these investors likely know they are throwing dice at a Ponzi. It's the ones like you who get "bit" in the end.

P.S. I'm not going to Micon this thread like a jackass...

Little late don't you think? Tongue

I understand the little significance in my one sentence you are dissecting. I get it. However, I don't necessarily appreciate you insulting my customers. My depositors are well aware of the risks associated with entrusting someone with their coins. If anyone has reason not to trust me they're more than welcome to go to someone they do. I have deep respect for several of the other "deposit takers"/investment options that are still operating after Pirate's default.

Aren't there already 50 gazillion threads specific to spreading FUD? I guess you just had to make one more to get the point across Wink. I get the scrutiny, but damn... people gotta start cheering up a bit around here. I don't see anything in this sub-forum but accusations or slinging hate anymore, even if in good/humorous intent.

Hi Ryan,

Can we have some kind of custom deal. I'm planning to automate majority of operations. I invest by sending you coins to a custom address only for me and you sending me back to a custom address also. Can it be some kind of a set protocol where we talk once and everything we agreed upon will be observed. I can give you investments from other people I just take a very small cut. Once it runs, I don't want to bother with it anymore. You just wait in a certain address from me and I wait payments from you from a certain address. Everything can be customized the way we agreed upon. Then once set, everything will be kind of automatic.

I hope you consider my offer.

Yes, keep sending those coins to me.  Please never stop.  Doesn't matter that I'm paying 3%/wk and taking on as much new debt as I can.  Don't think about the Pirate Ponzi, or the other ponzi's that still affect this community, just ship the fucking coin toute suite.   Don't ask too many questions either.  I'm arbitraging, remember?

So funny this, and Dank, are among the few still alive  Cheesy Although I didn't believe 3%/w to be sustainable when the lending market was flourishing, and certainly won't start now that offers at 1% from the most reputable members are winding off mainly with no hope of ever repaying... but well, this probably means this is a young Ponzi, independent from Pirate! Time to jump in and profit for a while!  Grin (kidding)

unfortunately that was totally the mentality throughout the mods here, even up to the top mod Theymos:  this looks a scam, I'll just jump in / jump out and profit.  Fuck the hundreds of users that will support this scam so I can make small coin.

Is anyone surprised?
I dont mind people starting loans but come on on, 7 posts and you allready go out and offer interest. o_0
PONZI SCAM.  Stay away from this one.
Post history looks extremely scammy.

I recommend asking me for a signature from my GPG key before doing a trade. I will NEVER deny such a request.

His old PGP key was under this name. When realising his folly, he quickly changed it to his current one which hides his real name.

I am not sure if it is him.

When he came online he used the same IP (which could ofcourse be a proxy...) over a couple of weeks

RustyRyan (424b4af1@gateway/web/freenode/ip.66.75.74.241) Quit (Quit: Page closed)

That IP looks to be in Winnetka.

The interesting thing about winnetka is its next to Northridge. The interesting thing about northridge is that its the area Nick is from.

Strange they both come online, and leave at the same time ?

I'm starting to think we definitely have our man.   On Ryan Walkers facebook page, he has also liked "High Performance Rebuilds (HPR)" - https://www.facebook.com/pages/High-Performance-Rebuilds-HPR/172626666081205

RustyRyan posted this here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=100217.msg1095217#msg1095217

Seems more than a coincidence that the name found in Rusty's PGP key happens to match a guy with the same name with the same interests that also happens to be into Bitcoin.

He does, however, mention here that he's in the US - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=100217.msg1107119#msg1107119  .  That's not necessarily true though I suppose, but we'll see.  Chasing down some other info as we speak.

...to be fair, he ripped off a tiny fraction of a community of hackers.

So funny this, and Dank, are among the few still alive

RustyRyan (unlike nckrazze) is not stupid enough to lose his coins to a competing scam.

phantitox,

I am replying to some of those that have messaged me within the last week just to let you know, I'll be complying in a way that I can within the next week. At no point in this project have I had the mental agenda to blatantly wrong anyone. From this point on, it's a "believe it or not" type of scenario, because I would be in the same frustrated state as many of my depositors. I don't want to insult you or other depositors with a million excuses, but this is honestly my current situation. Firstly, I was already having a full bad month in fund-flow, so the project was becoming more and more negative. However, what is more relevant is that my computer was stolen (which had my default bitcoin client wallet and my depositor info spreadsheet), as well as much of my mining operation and the few rigs and bfl singles that were not, broken. I've had to borrow a laptop just to write this.

I must admit that the first week of silence was due to fear of simply not knowing what to do, and the thought that no one would possibly believe where I'm at, as I'm an anxiety driven person. Despite my situation, I do not want to be someone responsible for making a mess and leaving people unwhole. I'll take names as stupid, incapable, coward, and so on because that is what I feel, and what I have shown to my depositors and the community.

My plan however, is to do what is promised on my OP thread. This being providing 25% of deposit principal in the event of complete failure, default, insolvency, etc. I've backed up my spreadsheet of depositor info in the past, but I do not currently have a complete updated version. So I'll need to either have to request that all depositors send me their repayment addresses and other info, possibly find a backup that I simply don't remember yet, or go through all past messages and tally info up one by one figuring amounts, anonymous or not, and return addresses. As for timing of the 25% return, I will most likely have to split it up into halves sending one payment first (which is as soon as I have all depositor's info, so hopefully in a matter of a few days), and the next one in a week or two. Timing is all relying on what funds I can get together at once (probably the second payment coming from a  loan) to come close to the 25% amount.

Ryan

after this i send the repayment address, and ask him why he didnt update the OP ... stil no answer since that. anyway s i dont expect much from this.  Roll Eyes

Sounds like someone who realises they're a bit fucked and wants to try and fob off their "investors" with 25% of their funds.

A quick message to Ryan's family and possibly a visit to his house should be enough to verify whether any such break-in occured.

Of course this recent development has nothing to do with his name etc been recently discovered when he previously thought he was completely anonymous.

Anyway police would of given you a crime number when you reported the theft. Can you please post it on here please and we'll go from there.

Seems like the 25% was his backup get out clause, In case he should be found out, I really cant believe this story, No wallet.dat backup???
Also He logged on 1am on the 2nd Oct, and claimed he only got (borrowed) a laptop on the 4th which was the first time he had been back???

Yes that's because on the 2nd he thought he was still safely anonymous and could keep 100% of the coins.
He's not anonymous anymore, and now wondering if people are going to start knocking on his door. So he had to quickly knit together this stolen computer story and only keep 75% of the coins.

So what are the conclusions? Ryan and NCKrazze are the same person? They are friends?

Is Rusty Ryan = Ryan Walker?

Is he from California or Australia? It looks like you guys found some useful clues, but they sometimes contradict one another.

A quick message to Ryan's family and possibly a visit to his house should be enough to verify whether any such break-in occured.

Hahaha. "Yes, hello, your family member Ryan stole some of my internet monopoly money."

Man, I would laugh at you on the phone, if you turned up at my house I would laugh in your face, and the police would laugh at you, but they wouldn't laugh at me when I reported you for intimidation and harassing my family.

When will you people learn that Bitcoins can be stolen with complete impunity? No government in the world recognizes them as a currency, a commodity, or a financial instrument of any kind. Why on earth do you expect a government law enforcement agency to step in when you are dumb enough to be scammed out of your coins?

Here's an easy answer: stop giving them to people who you don't know or trust because they offer to borrow from you at an insanely large interest rate. You'd think that would be common sense even for real, government issued money with legal recourse, let alone fucking Bitcoin which is anonymous and has no legal standing.

Stealing Bitcoin isn't a crime. You wanted a currency that exists outside of governmental systems, and now you've got one. Stop crying to the police when people steal them from you. It's YOUR responsibility to protect your coins. If you are too fucking stupid to do that, and you can't help yourself from just handing them to anyone who asks, then you shouldn't be involved in Bitcoin in the first place.

To everyone who lost coins in various Ponzi schemes: I am glad you had your money taken from you. You would only have spent it unwisely. I hope that you have been left at such a severe financial disadvantage that you are unable to look after your children and they are taken from you by the state so they can be looked after by people with better critical faculties than your own. If you don't yet have children, I hope that the financial loss leaves you stinking and in rags so you are unable to reproduce. Your genes should not be passed on to humanity.

Haha anger? Why would I be angry? I have all my Bitcoin.

Surely the angry ones are those who are planning to turn up at this young man's door?

I don't offer those services anymore (I am back at my full time job), but if you think that my post is badly written then we will have to respectfully agree to disagree. To be honest I think you are desperately clutching at some non existent straws, in a bizarre attempt to criticize or possibly insult me.

I am sorry you lost coins. I think you should take this as an expensive lesson about your own shortcomings and lack of wisdom.

Tell that to GLBSE and the SEC  Roll Eyes

Also, I think a more effective opening statement to Ryan's family would be to state the monetary value of what he's stolen (ie what? $25000?)
That'll make them sit up and take notice.

Let's not forget, the SEC is reading these boards, thanks to the data mining here they probably have his details as is, but it'd be better to make family contact  Wink

And no, I wasn't enough of a blatant retard to give this scammer any coin, I just think that he should be hung upside down by his testicles until he pays everyone back  Smiley

Tell that to GLBSE and the SEC  Roll Eyes

I think you fundamentally misunderstand the role of the SEC. Part of their remit is to deal with unregistered securities. If they had an interest in GLBSE, it would be related to that. The fact that the SEC doesn't want unregistered securities to be sold is in no way an a US government endorsement, acknowledgement or recognition of Bitcoin as a currency, a commodity or a financial instrument. I can't believe I'm having to explain that to you.

Do you think that if the SEC shut down an unlicensed securities exchange that was selling securities using pokemon cards as a currency, that would mean the US government officially acknowledges pokemon cards as a currency? C'mon man, you're not that dumb, surely no one is!

Furthermore, I don't actually believe that the SEC has been involved in GLBSE. GLBSE is based in the United Kingdom, and they are outside of the SEC's jurisdiction. They would be governed under the rules of the UK's Financial Services Authority, but in all honesty I don't think they are involved either. I think that it's most likely a taxation issue of some kind, although no one knows at this stage.

Also, I think a more effective opening statement to Ryan's family would be to state the monetary value of what he's stolen (ie what? $25000?)
That'll make them sit up and take notice.

I'd imagine so. Until you actually explain what Bitcoin is, and how it is supposed to be worth $25k.

I think you might get an answer along the lines of:

"I'm sorry, but that doesn't sound like it could be worth any money, and if anyone does pay that type of money for "Bitcoins" then they are an idiot. Thank you and goodbye."

Honestly, how would you explain what Bitcoin is and how their son has stolen coins worth $25k to someone who had never heard of it before? You think they're just going to take your word for it without fully understanding what it is?

"Yes they are a decentralized peer to peer irreversible, anonymous crypto-currency invented by a mysterious japanese guy who no one has heard of before, or since. They are worth nothing to anyone other than a very small number of computer geeks who seem willing to pay good money for them. They have no practical use that is legal. No business accepts them except one guy sold some beef jerky once and a restaurant in NYC used to take them but in practice it usually wasn't possible to pay with them."

Honestly, any sane person would tell you to fuck off. And I like Bitcoin, I think it is a neat idea, a fun gamble, and I currently hold roughly 5000 of them, but do you have any idea how stupid it sounds to everyone else in the entire world? And you want to phone up some guys parents and tell them that their son stole $25k worth of meaningless (to them), thin air Autism kroners?

If you think any regular person is going to take that phone call seriously, think again.

If something is intangible, non-physical, has no practical use, is unrecognized as a real thing by a court of law, can only be sold to a very small pool of people, and isn't money, then most people would have no problem writing it off as nothing of value. For a lot of people it would be written off as nothing at all, just incomprehensible nonsense.

Let's not forget, the SEC is reading these boards, thanks to the data mining here they probably have his details as is, but it'd be better to make family contact  Wink

Again, you fundamentally misunderstand the role of the SEC. If you think they are going to have an interest in an Australian teenager who tricked foolish people out of their Bitcoins, you are sadly mistaken.

And no, I wasn't enough of a blatant retard to give this scammer any coin, I just think that he should be hung upside down by his testicles until he pays everyone back  Smiley

I don't condone scamming, but c'mon, this is Bitcoin. It's the wild west of currency. People need to learn that they can't run to the government to help them when they lose their coins. But people CAN run to the government if someone tries to be violent, harass someone's family, or otherwise apply that same lawlessness to another situation. If you lose your coins, they are gone. That is Bitcoin. That is the whole point of Bitcoin. If you want government protection, there are lots of government backed currencies. Why not use one of them?

Referring to my last post, that's hardy surprising. Just been looking through all your previous global posts. 80% of them contain abuse, swearing, anger etc.. towards other members. Hope you didn't talk to your business customers in that fashion. What's wrong with you?

Haha what do you mean it's hardly surprising? It's hardly surprising that after a year of looking after my newborn baby I went back to my well paid job as planned? Yes, I agree. I wasn't surprised either. I wasn't even writing for pocket money, man. I was offering cut price services on a very small scale to try and help Bitcoin businesses. I was then spending the coins directly on other people's products to help spin the wheels of the Bitcoin economy.

You talk as if my foul mouth ruined my amazing plan to build a business writing for Bitcoiners, when in fact all I was trying to do was keep my brain active while my child was napping and do my little bit to grow the Bitcoin economy.

You've just made yourself look like an idiot who is trying to smugly comment on a post he clearly didn't read and a situation he clearly didn't understand.

But even though it was just a little hobby, of course I didn't talk to customers or potential customers like this. I reserve this tone for mouth breathing, knuckle dragging, thick skulled evolutionary throwbacks like yourself.

I took a gamble with 20 coins. I lost. I knew the risks. That's the way it goes. (shrug)
20 coins is expensive??? But even if they were, you have no idea what I got them for? I might of received them for nearly free, which would mean I've lost nothing. On the other hand I might of paid $30 for them, which would mean I've lost a lot.

I have to admit some people on here (not just including you CharlieContent) never cease to amaze me.

If you are so happy go lucky about it, why are you in this thread speculating about the kid, talking to me, and getting all haughty and pathetically trying to insult me when I point out the stupidity of your actions? If this was really such a casual gamble for you then we wouldn't be conversing right now.

Despite the clearly vast intelligence differential, we do have one thing in common: people on here never cease to amaze me either. Smiley

Probably on the same planet that your epic profits from the bitcoinmax ponzi feeder-fund weren't being effectively stolen from the fresh meat you brought into the scam.

However, I'd be a hypocrite to criticise RR for operating the same scam, when we have someone with even larger profits stolen from investors present.

Whatever though, I'll stay out of it - my one recommendation is that someone goes after this guy, since you now have his home address for a start.

There's strong evidence showing that he's in Australia. There's also strong evidence linking him to fellow scammer Nick Kureghian (NCKrazze), who lives in Los Angeles. So far, Ryan's creditors haven't been able to figure out how it all ties together, if at all.
