We understand the obvious concerns that everyone feels at this time.
The issue is with the site and not with our Database or the Wallet.

I find this a highly inappropriate time for you to make jokes. I also struggle to understand or rather: believe, how a planned website front end update could cause any site, let alone an exchange, to be down for 2 weeks. If you planned an update and found it didnt work, the obvious thing to do would be to roll back to the old site until the new one was ready. This downtime shows a level of incompetence not even shown by Ukyo or Nefario. Either that, or you're not telling the full story. |

Its just not proper way of implementing new site (or improvements). You leave old site running as it is, build - test and re-test test site and then you just need few hours max to get new site going live. What you are doing (if indeed rebuilding site) is equal to company suicide.

This is all completely absurd.

Back in Summer 2013, I discovered that Havelock's website -- in particular, its Withdraw Funds and Xfer Shares functions -- were vulnerable to a VERY, VERY BASIC, VERY AMATEUR vulnerability known as a CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery).
How amateur? Amateur enough that just by visiting a website with a single malicious line of HTML while logged in, your entire account could be drained.
Incidentally, BTCTCTCTCT or whatever it's called was vulnerable to this exact same vulnerability at the same time.
I verified that this was as serious as I thought it was by successfully draining all of the shares and all of the BTC from my own account into a dummy account set up for this purpose.
I then had to actually explain to Havelock how to fix the vulnerability in order for them to actually fix it. They fixed it for the withdrawal page that day, and promised to update the rest of the pages next week.

Fast-forward to the Q3 HIF financial report, and you can see that they're actually too goddamn lazy to change the name of all three months in their copied-and-pasted reports, bothering only to update the part where all the money is gone.

Fast-forward to last week, and they find an issue with their website, and they've spent a week trying to decipher what the problem is. A week. Maybe it's time to, I don't know, ask an adult for help?

havelock from am sales made about 180 btc sales commission since then it was about .5 btc a week from trading and withdrawal fees - average trading volume and estimated 300 withdrawals a week.
question is whats better having cookie giving little crumbs or eating a cake?
only time will show
the other funds were clear ponzis and they were powered by am when am stopped (paused) payments the stream making it flowing stopped and made whole havelock influent so we experienced maintenance... The timing of alleged come back fits the frame of expected am hash dividends payout
..just saying....
