The browser based website is being developed. Currently only the windows client is available to play on. However there is no hard ETA for the online client to release. It was said that the android client would be released at first.

Have they actually said that the browser client is being developed?  I recall Micon saying it would eventually be but that it was on the bottom of the list.  About a month ago, I think they said the android client was finally being developed.  Anyway, I can't seem to get the to reply about even just setting up a login system on the website, I'd be surprised if they were actually developing the browser client at the moment.

Also, sorry I keep asking, but you guys haven't said anythinga bout it yet: when can we at least get a loging to the website so that we can stake our account names from sealswithclubs and our krill?

No staking or recovery is necessary. Your original username and krill await, reserved for you, still linked to the email address associated with your old Seals account. When you are ready to use SwCPoker, begin the login procedure, click "forgot password", and you'll be prompted on how to receive a code by email that allows you to set a password. If you need to change your registered email address before then, please write support@swcpoker.eu.

We are currently developing a browser-based cashier, which will allow players to log in from the website, view their balance, and to make withdrawals or transfers. This is the web log-in that you are asking for. A rough ETA on this feature right now is several weeks from now.

Right now we are working on developing Android, Linux, and Mac clients and hope to start rolling them out soon, although we can't provide a specific timeline. A browser-based client is also being considered, based on player input and feedback.

Maybe you can start a voting on the thread for different clients. +1 for the browser client. A browser based client would be the most prefered because people don't have to await launch of different clients. If you guys had released the broser based client at first, I am sure lots of people would still have been playing on the site . Having it planned for the end is only going to make you lose customers  .

I wonder why the Linux client is even on the list. You guys really should rollout the html client at first. All the decrease in traffic is primarily only because of that.

I look forward to the linux client. There are other bitcoin poker sites with
browser clients, but they are still lacking players. So maybe it helps but
not so much Huh

The linux client was the principle one I used on sealswithclubs.  After that android (which is really still linux, just not GNU/Linux).  Then I used the browser when I was somewhere else or whatever.  Actually I used the browser client for quite a while before they had the android and GNU/Linux clients.  I imagine that this is one of those things where hindsight is 50-50.  They obviously should have had a browser client, but alas, unexpected things went down at the end of 2014.

I imagine that the SwC team is working hard to get another flavor of the client software written.  The message about which one will be released first did not always sound consistent to me.  It might depend on some compatibility and stability factors that only become apparent when they are developing the software.  Maybe some of us can be early beta testers.

I'm not a huge fan of downloading executables onto my PC.   I would really like for the browser client to come out.    I used to play at the old site with the broswer and enjoyed it.  For now, I have to play elsewhere.

That will be helpful.  Especially if you're able to create new accounts through the website.

That way new players that are non-windows will at least be able to sign up and have their accounts ready.

I know SwC doesn't like to spam their players - and we're all thankful - but you could offer an option for them to choose to receive an email when their preferred client is available.

For anyone that hasn't been on and seen the new tournaments that were added, there are three new nightly tournaments in a row starting in a bout an hour with the Big Five.

And then as usual after that there is the 30 Chip Late Deep Turbo.

There's also a 1 chip, 15 GTD tournament that starts 15 minutes after the LDT for the people that wanted 1 chip MTT's.

ICYMI, the recently added nightly lineup is starting.

Also some 25 Chip Freerolls running every few hours.

I like the krill leaderboard but I feel like you should double the prizes. I'm sure you will make back the extra 1 bitcoin as the incentive would be greater to reach the top 5. People will fight it out more creating more action. I came in 6th one week but there wasn't enough of a bonus to really go for moving up. I love the site though- the software is amazing, just needs more action!

The Las Vegas newspaper reported

http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/las-vegas/vegas-based-bitcoin-poker-operator-return-us-face-charge

The Gaming Control Board first learned of Seals with Clubs in August 2013, when a Belgian resident complained about the site, according to an affidavit for arrest.

Does that make any sense?  Could this have been started by a Belgian player complaining to Nevada gaming?  Did Seals even have Belgian players?

Yep, Seems like it because of this complainant the Gaming board first learned of Seals with Clubs in August 2013. I would really want to know the complain of that Belgian person

Just read on the same article that he did not get funded from the Gofundme link due to undisclosed reasons . That doesn't sound good for him.

I don't think so. Before he left, he said some other people were working on the site and his case will not affect the operation of the site.
But incase they make a deal to clear him for shutting down the site, then I wouldn't know.
