Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

They added the 1BB tables back late last night.  For anyone that doesn't know, they're tables where the max buy-in is 1 big blind, and the SB and BB are both the same.  And they have PLO now too.

Played for about an hour at 2/2 and made like 250 Krill during 2x Krill hours.  Was pretty fun too.  I'm not normally a fan of flipping, but this was fun and adds in more excitement than just playing one big flip.

I'd only suggest that they maybe add a 1/1 level to see if that makes more players willing to give it a try.

And then as always, the largest tournament of the week, The Medium BTC:

Great!  I wonder if you can follow up with a general sort of ETA.  Empahsis on the "E", so we're not holding you to it, just asking.  Early this year there was an estimation of 6 weeks given for the android client.  Now, it's been closer to 6 months.   How are things looking for getting out an alpha version?  Recall that you released the windows thingy in a very alpha state but people are willing to play and help you debug it.  Are we talking about the end of this year?  End of next year?  End of the decade?  Okay, I'm being sarcastic, but you know what I mean, can you give us an idea of when we might expect to get to try it?

Another 1.25k Overkrill tonight, and this one is PLO8.  Should have a nice overlay.

The Overkrill tournaments are brilliant promotions with a big guarantee.

Much more effective than standard freerolls for building a poker site (and a player base) from the ground up.

I like the way these guys think.

Just wanna say that I am really glad the (relatively) bigger tournaments (Nightly Special, 40 Chip Deep, Real Smooth, etc) are there. Makes me play poker again daily after some months of break. Keep it up SWC team Smiley

I totally agree.

Although I'm sure it had nothing to do with it, I was actually suggesting tournaments like this because I also believe they're more effective than standard freerolls.  So I was very happy when they were added.

And they've said that as the Overkrills grow they will increase the prize pool to keep the overlay.

Yeah, the new tournaments are great.  I wish I were able to play more of them earlier in the day, but they have been doing well and seem to have increased tournament numbers across the board.  Which makes sense for the reason you posted.

Just got krillback/table starter rb.  They are both in the exact amounts as they were last week, down to the bitcent.  Can anyone else check and see if they are seeing something similar.

Just looked again...the payments from 40 minutes ago are now gone in my "transactions" page, and new transactions are now posted timestamped 15 minutes ago.  These, too, seem incorrect (I feel like the ts and krillback are switched) but I'm not sure.

Yes, we accidentally typo'd and hit the previous week in our processing software. It was corrected. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Anyone managed to run SWC on Wine yet?

It opens for me, "just" doesn't connect (SSL problem or something?) I am getting errors that seem pretty common according to Google. But I don't have the knowledge nor time to try to fix them.

Same here, then I noticed the server it connects to has an expired certificate, maybe
windows just connects despite this and wine is more strict? I emailed them about it some time ago,
but seems they haven't found the time to replace it with a correct cert.

Maybe post the actual errors.  I quit using wine a few years ago because it was too much of a hassle.  However, if you post the errors here, you might have some success solving them as getting seals to work on wine would be really useful for a large number of people, I think.
