Our entire promotional strategy/schedule is being evaluated. Again, we don't have a definitive timeline. But we are hoping that Krillrolls will return as a regular benefit for the players.

Would you consider something like I propose year ago here?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

LOL..."offset my variance"  Why are you gambling what you can't afford?  I also consider it begging when you sat in chat before every tourney spamming your shares so people give you money to play. And just because I was tilted and said "screw it, I'm just gonna play the freerolls" doesn't all of a sudden make it okay for them to cancel the high krillrolls.  I've also said similar things plenty of times before, because I tilt easily, but notwithstanding this latest fiasco, I generally calm down and continue my happy gambling ways.  This was like the 4th time in this thread you decided to attack me personally.  I don't see why you feel like you have the right to tell me I shouldn't be upset about losing all the benefits that were promised to me by the site.  Let's not pretend like the cuts didn't affect the higher krill accounts disproportionally.  I paid waaaay more rake than you, both in the past and in this current year (and I did so without panhandling) , but you somehow feel like you have the right to tell me to go fuck off when they cut rewards that you were never even eligible for.

I'm not gonna keep arguing with you because its childish, but I will mention that I have nearly 100k Krill so don't tell me I didn't lose rewards as well.

I think it's clear to everyone in this room that you're an emotional fool with a vendetta and nothing that seals will do will appease you.

fite me irl bro.

I see that you are making a vain attempt to make a stand to the entitled child you are referring to. But I've read the last few pages of this thread and you are basically just taking the opposite stance on whatever he does. You are the more childish of the two and should consider growing up. The "fite me irl" comment is just pathetic. Grow up. I stumbled across this thread while considering giving poker a chance and Bitcoin poker would be the desirable option. However, it people like you who will ultimately impact my decision where to give my weekly Bitcoin donations. I'd rather give it to charity then give it to assholes like you.

The "Fite me Irl" was an inside joke because I know the guy, he was actually an alright guy - the occasional blowup.(and it's a little sad that you didn't see that as clear sarcasm.)

Yes, I've said a few thing in this thread to him that are regrettable in the heat of the moment, but overall I was just trying to show that he has a personal vendetta against the site and is actively trying to drive people away from a site that I've been a member of for years and still have hope for.

The last thing I would want is for my comments to drive people away from the site and I apologize if anyone was offended, I should have made my posts more constructive and not gone after the guy personally.

I have always thought lluboski always makes good suggestions.

BTW here is Micon's response to the linked post.

kind of like the idea of a weekly & monthly krill-roll(s), something where you must earn X krill within the week/month.

also must keep the legacy krill-rolls in some fashion.

Lots to consider, and likely at least 1 month away before rolling them out.

TY Micon  Smiley

Again the point being getting players to both login and play on a daily/regular basis.

yea thats a good idea, I've also suggested doing some sort of individual weekly krill "goals" so earning X amount of krill will get you Y amount of chips. that way low stakes players who put a lot of volume in can be rewarded as well.

The idea behind weekly krill-rolls at that time was that SWC as a new site needed encourage players from old Seals to play on SWC.
Nobody would really blame them for changing Krill-rolls requirements at that time. It was good time to introduce the change without risk.
I am fairly certain if SWC would introduced for example 1BTC weekly for anyone who earn 200 krill for the week then, SWC traffic would be much
better now ( it would cost them nothing, they paid out the Bitcoins anyway).

Situation is different now. Old Seals players are gone and SWC don't have too many coins to spend for promotions.
I still think SWC need to do something, maybe 500 chips weekly krill-roll for anyone who earn 100-200 krill for the week?
SWC can announce special promo for 2 month, reevaluate and choose to continue with the promotion or not.
It would cost 4 Bitcoins. Hopefully they can still afford it. Players would be happy they got something and SWC will find out if they can increase
ring game traffic that way. If work as intended net cost for SWC should decrease over time. For example 1st week qualifies 30 players,
2nd week 40, 3rd week 50,etc.

What you suggest is a rake-back. For that to have any impact, SWC would have to pay players to play. I know the krill roll is essentially
the same thing, but for some reason I thing it's more acceptable and interesting.

It wold be nice to have SWC opinion.

When should the players expect to see a new promo to facilitate play on the site?  You guys were QUICK to rip away promised rewards but very very slow (and unresponsive) when it comes to what you have planned.  It's almost like you didn't plan any at all...

Also, updates on a mobile platform?  Think you've been working on that one for 18 months now, I don't see how it's not nearly done.

1.  The krillrolls weren't around for 18 months.  That's how long the new software has been in SWC's control.

2.  Taking them away a few hours before one was supposed to start is the "quickly" part.

3.  No need to name call, especially in a situation where you don't understand what's going on.  Unless you're just a shill looking for a couple of pennies from papa?

(1&2) With the way you juxtaposed quick with very very slow I'm sure you can see how some one would take it like I did.  Hence the horrible name Grin  Yes it seems like they had not much of a plan.  I appreciate those that gave good advice here that stemed from experience.

Do you understand what's going on or are you just speculating?

I am not a shill.  I started playing on Seals 3 1/2 years ago and is how I found btc for which I will forever be grateful.  I still try to play on SwC,

BTW my sig is an unpaid one if that's what you were referring to when talking about pennies.

I was showing you how calling people names based on nothing is hurtful and unnecessary.

I understand what's going on, and I'm speculating on the motives behind it and what we can expect in the future based on my decade+ in the industry.

Amusingly enough, Seals is also how I found bitcoins and I tried to play on SWC through the summer but the games just dried up so much that there was never really any games to play.

Despite all my issues with SwC management, i would like to applaud them for refunding all the players affected by the 4-man collusion team during this past Sunday's MediumBTC tournament.  While SwC has mishandled pretty much everything else, they did step up to the plate in a prompt and decisive fashion after the tournament after players e-mailed support with reports of suspicious behavior by these 4 individuals.  Players on all poker sites (BTC or otherwise) should always remain vigilant against possible dishonest users.

I'm in the same boat.  I used to love seals.  While it wasn't actually how I first found bitcoin, it was one of the first things I did with bitcoin when I found it.  They had an open and accessible platform, no bullshit, no collecting personal data, etc.  Beautiful.

I finally came to grips that seals actually died back in the day and swc is simply not sealwithclubs.  It's a different site with different management and different principles.  The new site is focused on Windows players and we see how that worked out.  As far as I can tell, it's just a long slow deathride here.  It's unfortunate but we may as well come to grips with the reality.  Pretending it's not real doesn't make it any less real.

I thought this room for a long time does not work Huh Any big tourney? And what about cash game and numbers of players?

Yeah there are some big tourneys.

The nightly special > 75 chips buy-in > 750chips prize pool

40 chips deep > 40 chips buy in > 400 chips prize pool

50 chips super stack > 50 chips buy in > 450 chips prize pool

Late deep turbo > 30 chips buy -in > 320 chips prize pool

The monster stack .. turbo 25 and many more.

Those are just big one and Ring games don't have action all the time but .25/.50 Big0 omaha hi-lo run every night. For information you should log in.

Which accounts were involved?

barchart27, diasus, rayclar34, and spitz50 were the colluding accounts.  All of them registered right around the end of the late registration period of the medium BTC.  If you sat a table with any two of them, you should have received a refund, and if not, you should e-mail support ASAP so they can resolve your case.
