I just played my first "OverKrill" game. Was happy to see such a large guarantee on the game.

I made it to the final table. It was kind of weird because when I got there a hand was already in play. I guess it was the previous hand from the other table finishing up, so it kind of makes sense, although I'm used to the final table being a new table.

What was weirder though was when that hand finished another was dealt and I noticed the antes in the middle of the table were worth just 480 chips. They were 60 chips per player and there were 9 of us on the final table, so why only 480 (6 times 80)? I checked afterwards in the hand replayed and it showed that only 6 players were dealt into the hand. How can that be? And why 6?





Before the final table we were 4 and 5, so it's not to do with that. I guess something went wrong so I thought I'd post it here.

Edit: I got an explanation in the on-site chat from glitch:

when the 10th player busts, the people from his table are moved to the other.

if there's a hand in progress there, you arrive during it.

the button has to pass you before you can dealt cards. the first hand might have less than 9 dealt in.

your replayer may not show the players seated at the table who were not dealt in for that hand, since you moved mid hand

I didn't see this specific tournament, but I can answer from a general online poker standpoint:

This is pretty standard.  As the tournament goes on, tables are condensed.  At the final table, one table gets broken (typically the table where the last player busted) and the players get seated at the other table.  If h4h isn't going on, that's going to happen immediately, so you'll likely get seated in the middle of a hand.

You can't play a hand if you get moved to a table and are between the button and one of the (existing) blinds.  You have to wait until the button passes.

Update regarding SwC development progress:

• We believe we have solved a major source of MTT lag. Feedback regarding this is helpful.
• Focus is now on identification and tracking of those annoying non-MTT connection bugs that some are experiencing
• Expect a PC client upgrade in the future that will solve many issues.
• Android development continues separately from other work. Coming Summer 2017.

I for one will not stand for this travesty of justice. EVERYONE knows that penny rolls keeps the site alive with the massive amount of rake that derives from these extinct jewels of SWC days past. Wav is a beacon of light in the stormy SWC skies and deserves a lifetime membership with the ability to chat ban who HE wants.

How will I ever get to invest with Wav now without being able to chat with him daily? I do NOT want to let him go-go and leave him hanging like a yo-yo. I mean even the fucking Bank of England trusts him so why can't glitch cut this national treasure a break and stop bullying him because of his vast intellect and investing prowess.

I am now officially on strike from playing ANY swc games (other than OFC) between 11:01am to 11:03am CKT (Cold Krakistan Time). I am but just one voice and you should all rise up with me to fight this travesty because only wavrachal has the power to #MakeSealsGreatAgain

Am I the only one who finds it odd that someone who works for the site is allowed to play real money games on there?  What are his access rights?  Because if he's able to see full hand histories (the kind that any back-end personnel would have access to, for game security purposes) he has a MASSIVE unfair advantage over every real money player on the site.

Considering he plays cheeseburger stakes, presumably just to chat and get feedback from the players for the most part, I wouldn't worry about it.  Unless u think he's superusing .25 chip OFC lol

On a serious note, after seeing the 12g high roller go from 5-5-2 entrants, w me winning the last two Sundays, I don't think this will grow in the way I had hoped (not that the cash game action has been bad).

But for the highest buy in tourney w almost zero rake that featured the games no one else can spread, they just put so little into marketing the event, Idk what else they expected.

If you're going to roll out a marquee event like this you have to PROMOTE it.

Regarding the high roller 12 game tournament, we will continue to promote and market the event as we grow through the release of more clients and software improvements. We think it fits nicely in the Sunday schedule and will continue to support it.

It's not superusing, it's having access to hidden information from previous hands.  If I can see every hand you've ever played on the site, cards-up, I'm going to be able to crush you every single time we play because I know exactly how you play every hand in your range.  I don't know what he currently plays, but I know he did play the highest regularly running cash games and mtts on the site.  The fact that those regularly running games aren't very big is irrelevant.

So are you saying that he has no access to any historic hand histories?  Is he not involved in the security of the site at all?  How many people are on the security team?  Do any of them play poker on the site at all?

Those with access to historic hand histories do not play the site.
Glitch does not have access and cannot see your historic play.
Glitch is not involved in the security of the site, with the exception that he reports issues to us that need closer attention & he can also ban chat
