It's been a week since SWC said they would pay refunds within days.

It's been five months since SWC discovered this "bug."

This is exactly what exit scams look like in their last days.

A player who emailed them looking for a refund today was told to "play at [his] own risk."

Stealing a huge amount of money wasn't bad enough for this company.  Now, they are going to lie about it as long as they can to keep their faucets running.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

SWC's silence is deafening.

They have reportedly stopped responding to emails now too.

Countdown to official insolvency announcement?

They just got back to my e-mail and said:

We are close to sending them.

This is a large task and we want to be certain it is done right.

I'm relieved they aren't being silent on this. I think they'll come through this week

"We have excellent poker room and marketing staffs, we just didn't let them do their jobs properly until now. That is all part of the changes that started with the rake reduction. We botched the Krill Roll, now we're making that right. It all starts now."

Regarding Over-Rake Refunds
The investigation into over-raked pots has been completed. We are now loading the data to run a payout script. We expect this process to take up to 36 hours to complete. Once paid out, players will notice a transaction with type "Refund" in the cashier screen. Players will also be credited an equal amount of Bitcoin Cash, which can be claimed in the same manner as our BCH distribution process, by emailing bch@swcpoker.eu and following the instructions.

Regarding Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin Cash claims continue to be processed regularly. If you had a balance at SwC Poker on August 1st, you may email bch@swcpoker.eu to claim your BCH. This regular processing will continue until at least the end of 2017.

Regarding Client Development
After the refund process completes, we will shift focus back to developing our new client software. This new software will eliminate many of the issues experienced by players today. The client will be developed to run on multiple platforms and will greatly improve player experience. We understand this has been a difficult time for SwC Poker, and we vow to improve the platform.

Thank you for playing at SwC Poker

This is excellent news!  Thank you for providing a timeline for refunds.  I'm looking forward to all of the degening that is sure to take place once people have a few extra chips.  See you all on SwC this week!

Why are you still calling this overraking?  SWC simply can't not be dishonest.  If i didn't light a fire under your asses in this forum, you'd never have addressed it at all.

The most important software is mobile support. That should really be prioritized.

Thanks for the update. You stated earlier this month that this "bug happened rarely and did not affect many players." Now that the investigation is complete, can you let us know how many players were affected and the number of missing coins in aggregate?

Well, I was just credited with 221.63 chips, so I'm satisfied.  Doesn't excuse the deceit but they did eventually make players whole.

I'm just going to enjoy this cashout of >1k USD.

As far as I'm concerned, this war is over.

Regarding Over-Raked Pots

Refunds have been credited to all affected players. A corresponding amount of BCH has also been credited, and must be claimed through the BCH claiming method.

Thank you for playing SwC Poker.

So it looks like swc did exactly what they said they were gonna do: process the refunds in a matter of days.

I'm very happy to receive my 279 chips (most were from the 200/400 days back in '15 I presume).

While they may seem non-corporate, understaffed at times, and I'm guessing they're playing as hard as they're working, it's hard not to root for the antithesis of the calculating, greedy sites that permeate the online landscape.  They stand for everything AmayaStars seems to stand against (for better and for worse).

None of us owe them shit for handling this.  Not even a thank you.  Poker is not a team sport or a team business, but I certainly hope that with all the rec players looking for a place to gamble while they are watching football, we can at least point them in swc's direction.  BTC is in the mainstream now as we all have realized from our co-worker/cousin/parents/baby's mamas asking about it.  Fucking Floyd Mayweather is promoting ICO's.  BTC-only should thus no longer be a deterrent for these recs.

They have always honored their word.  They have the lowest rake around and a tablestarter element to help get games going.  They offer games nobody else does, from the smallest of micros to the highest of nosebleeds, and in almost any variant you can imagine.

Hope to see you all at the tables with our unexpected early Xmas presents.  Cheers and thank you swc!

I can confirm that I received a refund that is in line with what is reasonable to expect for my volume at the time.
