Omnicoin is no longer officially supported on HackForums.net, however, myself and another former member of the official development team have plans to keep the coin going. We're going to start working on Omnicoin-related projects over the course of the next few weeks.

Being delisted from Bittrex doesn't mean the coin is dead, it just, unfortunately means we have no exchange right now. The remaining members of the team still interested in this coin are aware that we've no longer got Bittrex as an exchange, and are totally fine with that given that it was an inactive exchange anyways. We're going to work on our implementation before we consider trying to get on any more exchanges. |

Removing OMC from bittrex is not something that worries me, what could be important is me unable to withdraw my coins from it because broken blockchain. This market will be removed on 12/08/15. OMC is now dead. The main dev's stopped supporting the coin. OMC has been going downhill for a while. Omniscient Was throwing about 1 BTC/week at the exchange to keep it above .2 btc volume. I would love to help them do so if they still are. I am currently running a OMC node on a VPS that is online 24/7 |
