Bitcoin hack report suggests inside job

A group of hackers investigating the collapse of Mt Gox, the Tokyo-based bitcoin exchange, has lent weight to the idea that it was an inside job, publishing a report detailing the activities of an automated bot that appeared to game the fragile system by buying hundreds of thousands of coins with fake money.

This theory isn't new and this is exactly what people had speculated had happened and I personally think it is very likely this business what lead to the collapse. What we really need to know or find out is what happened to the money and who has it. I'm sure Karpales is responsible in some way but it could be some other hackers or manipulators but sadly there's no concrete evidence pointing to the true culprit.

We were several steps ahead of them when we all noticed the suspicious issues that MT.GOX constantly had, Mark Karpeles is either grossly incompetent or implicit in what he's doing, he shouldn't get any profits from anything to do with MT.GOX let alone have a say in how it's run.

The U-Turn the press will do in light of this information is going to be pretty ironic considering how they were screaming about the MT.GOX collapse so much back when it actually happened.
