Why do you make it sound like a bad thing? And who cares about Jimmy Wales and his political view, anyway? What does it have to do with bitcoin?

Huh, I had no idea Wales was an Objectivist.  Glad to hear it.  Guess it makes sense, given how empowering the Wiki concept is to individuals operating in a meritocratic environment.

What matters is how bitcoin works and the possibilities it enables. The political/philosophical/religious views of its inventor are irrelevant.
