The new wallet will show it has peer connections, but stalls and does not sync new blocks. The wallet is also staking now, so the PoW blocks will be fewer than in the OP. Dev should relaunch for the coin to have a chance.

I bet every person that got coins solo mining or pool mining at the start all lost their coins since this coin forked and started a new block chain. I also lost all of the coins that I minded when the coin launched.
