Hello Everyone ,

I tried searching through the forum didn't find the better result on this Driver for AMDGPU - Pro

Motherboard - Asrock H81 R2.0
RAM - 4 GB
Graphic Card - 6 x 480 Sapphire 8 GB
PCIe - 1x 16x Riser card

OS - Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS

I tried using win 7 64 bit ,all 6 cards were visible but working only 4 and 2 with ( exclamation mark ) . With error 43
tried restarting and plug in and plug out . Checked with the drivers all working fine and even the cards are fine too then somebody suggested on #monero channel the cryptomined youtube channel   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1ok9wLc3dE  running 6 GPU with ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS Xenial/ Xerus linux

As soon as I install the drivers AMDGPU-PRO and restart it and i stuck at login login loop . I type the password correct but still isn't working
I followed all the steps whatever is mentioned here - http://www.linuxslaves.com/2016/05/3-ways-fix-ubuntu-gets-stuck-login-loop.html

Still unable to login . I am not using multi-boot only one OS that's it .
Went through all the troubleshooting steps and the process to fix the stupid issue but still the same .
Wanted to mine Monero/Zcash .

Any help appreciated . Please

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Look into https://lbr.id.lv/6xgpu_mod/6xGPU.html

But essentially you need to mod the registry to enable more gpus on XP.

Catalyst 16.9+ drivers do not allow 6 GPUs in Win7 even with 6xGPU patch. Try Win10.

To troubleshoot ubuntu it is required some more information.

1. /var/log/syslog
2. /var/log/Xorg.log or smth similiar

have you added your user to video group?

I use ubuntu 16.04 server on my rigs with no bugs. Try it maybe

Yes , I have added the user group accordingly as shown in the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1ok9wLc3dE
and as soon as i restart i stuck at the login loop .

You have just mentioned 16.04 Ubuntu server  and I am using 16.04.1 desktop version
does it make the difference

Should I try to use Server Version ?

But according to mention in the video

Command I use to in the video group - sudo gpasswd -a $(whoami) video
and then reboot and stuck in login loop

are you using 16.04 Ubuntu Server or 16.04.1 Ubuntu server

downloaded ubuntu from here -http://releases.ubuntu.com/16.04/  64 bit version

Does changing from desktop to Server will work ?

I also used ubuntu 16.04lts desktop and i installed ampgpu-pro 16.40 and it read my gpu with less memory and compute units so the mining is too slow i don't know why it's so hard to install the drivers on ubuntu
