The closest you are going to get to "risk-free" is to hold your coins yourself.

Buy a TREZOR! Premier BTC hardware wallet. If you're reading this, you should probably buy one if you don't already have one. You'll thank me later.

If you want to put in some time an effort you can check out GLBSE.com
Otherwise GBF (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=74975.0) exists Smiley
Also UltimaFund is a option, there are tons of funds and deposits, check the thread who pays what (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=81542.0) for the best deposit services.
For funds you can check the lending/security section of the forums.

Trusting someone doesn't mean "risk free".

There is no such thing as risk free investment Smiley

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Trusting someone doesn't mean "risk free".

If they promise to pay back and I trust him completely. How is it not risk free?
Of course, this doesn't includes the scenario where he got hit by a car and died or the whole BTC economy crashes

Do you think putting money into your normal high-street bank is risk free?

My favourite, GMP listed on https://cryptostocks.com

The are yet to start the mining, but once the new version of the boards are available I believe this to be a good investment, "real" ASICs will still take a while to appear on the market, in the meanwhile go with the FPGAs.

Hacked Account! Don't send any money.

Print out a paper wallet and store it in a safe.

As risk free as it will get. As long as you aren't robbed it should be almost risk free. You have exactly 800 BTC a year later.

So all those "100% guaranteed Automatic Payout" are just lies?  I'm too simple to naive?

They aren't necessarily "lies", they just aren't "risk free".

How did you obtain 800BTC before learning the track-record of previous cases where people trusted someone else with their bitcoins for interest, convenience or profit?

Spread it around, and open up a GLBSE account, research everything there and buy a little of everything with a good track record (dividends, verified, whatever seems important to you).  Diversify.  So if some rob you, the high rate from the other's will compensate.  Everything bitcoin is high risk - which is why the interest is so high.

But then what if something happens to GLBSE?

GLBSE may seem like a good way to "diversify" by buying different "bonds" and "stocks" and such, but GLBSE is still one possible point of failure/scam.

Have the same problem myself with 350 BTC Smiley

The best i found so far are:

Low risk
MyBitcoinTrade 10.5% monthly https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=81357.0
chungenhung 8% monthly https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=56853.0

High Risk:
PPT Bitcoin Max 6.9% weekly https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83904

I also consider others but those all have a stain
PPT [GLBSE] FOO.PPPPT 7% weekly https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83013.0
(not as easy as biotcoinmax to get your money back / get shares and you cannot reinvest your cash automatically)

[GLBSE] BDT 3% weekly https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=93445.0
(noone knows the guy who offers this really...)

Nope, but for 800 BTC ($7400) you should be able to request a photo of his id / proof of residence.

No, the maximum is still 2000.  It is simply that if you want to add more than 100, I would appreciate your letting me know.
