Hello guys,

Which is your favourite mobile wallet?

Until now I have been online using bitcoin core on my PC, as it felt the safest way.
What are good alternatives, not always have to synchronize the blockchain.

Especially for iOS. I am fuddling with Coinbase and Blockchain mobile Apps right now.
Without a shadow of a doubt, it's breadwallet. I don't get it how people can still favor Blockchain.info's (cr)app.

That's for iOS. For Android, it's Mycelium.

For Windows Phone, I think there is no wallet app yet?

Actually for Windows Phone there is this wallet option:

These are pretty much your options for iOS:

Can't go wrong with Green Address or Hive I hear.

I mostly use the blockchain app, which is working quite well.

I'm only looking for a solid and safe ios app which I haven't found yet.

Breadwallet. Look no further. It's absolutely the best.

Oh, and on Android, use Mycelium. It's SO much better than blockchain.info's app.

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yes, you can import the private key from your blockchain.info wallet into Mycelium.

For Windows Phone, I think there is no wallet app yet?

Actually for Windows Phone there is this wallet option:

http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/bitcoin-wallet/6beb6013-ec4c-47e2-80c8-4b5f9dc4a307
Ah nice, that app has been around for a long time, but it used to be restricted to testnet only. Great to see it now supports the actual Bitcoin network. Too bad it's a paid app Undecided

I've also seen people using this one for a long time:

https://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/bitcoin/ca65fc5b-14f0-4da4-8e39-e2d4b702b2ea

But for some unknown reason, this was changed to "no longer published" a few months ago. Sucks.

I also hope Copay (by Bitpay) will soon be officially available in the Windows Phone market, right now it's still in Beta.

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

yes this is a great wallet.  just don't use it for mining deposits, as those huge transactions will slow down the wallet significantly.

Agreed, Breadwallet is the best for iOS. HD, open source, free, very clean and secure UX. I had one hiccup some time ago where I couldn't send BTC and I had to reinstall the app, but it has since been updated and now works fine.

I like Mycelium but not as much.

+1 for Airbitz. I went from being a Mycelium guy to Airbitz only for my hot wallet.

Disadvantage of Coinbase: you need to register an account with some 3rd party. With real Bitcoin wallets, you are your own bank and you don't have to register anything, anywhere.
