For a spendable wallet it lets you sign the signature and keep a hacked computer from spending your coins

a paper wallet is a cold wallet, you can't easily move your bitcoins.
with a trezor you can easily move your bitcoins and they will still be safe

It's essentially a portable cold storage that also allows you to safely spend your bitcoin on an infected computer. Since the potentially infected computer is only needed to create the transaction and then that transaction is signed by the trezor (and you can verify the send to address on the trezor screen).

The shipping times are terrible, but the Trezor itself is well worth the money IMO.

I get it now. I don't have enough Bitcoins to make it worth it self though. Gonna stick to Electrum for now.

Because it's a Hardware wallet simply , you can move your Coins easier then Paper wallets (which are safer) and it's pretty secure and safe.
I'd go with Ledger wallet tho . I guess it's better and also cheaper .

Yep, I dont see why getting a trezor would make sense unless you run a company that handles hundreds to thousands of Bitcoins.

I would say it makes sense for everyone, who is using Bitcoins everyday. I own a Trezor device and I like to use it because it's secure on the one hand and on the other hand you can easily access your funds in seconds (in comparison to a paper wallet).

They are good to keep your coins secure but also to save money so long as you understand them to use paper wallets their free and can make plenty of backups and have cold storage then. Their good but a little on the expensive side and id just have a USB pen drive that is encrypted and password protected with a nice long password. I do this and find it to just be as good and a lot less cost involved. I have seen an online version of the Trezor but that I do not know if  a scam or linked to the main creators of hardware wallet. With any hardware it can fail but same time they are good and secure. But like you said you can do something just like it and be lot cheaper. In my option they are simple and good for some as others will just do research like my self and just use other methods to be secure.

storing them on sd card, paper or raspberry pi have different features.  you can find an overview at http://doc.satoshilabs.com/trezor-faq/differences.html it makes sense for certain purposes.

My reasons for buying a Trezor were:

  • Display - I like devices with Display (for example the Ledgerwallet is just a tiny stick
  • Fast - I can go to any computer and send Bitcoins without any issues. A paper wallet is more circumstantial
  • Secure - As I said it works on every computer without having the risk to lose my funds

Id prefer paper wallet and not have the worrier of having this brake and can make multiply backups of paper wallets and have for safe keeping or make a metal key with it on for extra safety
Yep, I dont see why getting a trezor would make sense unless you run a company that handles hundreds to thousands of Bitcoins.
Paperwallets are cold storage, if you want to be able to quickly and securely use your coins at the drop of a hat you use a trezor, with paper wallets you have to redeem the private key and then spend it all or leave it open and if that is a compromised pc you can lose the coins.

You never do this with paper wallets unless you want to lose your coins. When using a paper wallet you send the balance back to the next paper wallet. So if you for example have 10 coins in your paper wallet and you need say 3 coin for the next couple of days/week you import the paper wallet and right after that send 7 coins to a new paper wallet.

I make use of paper wallets but agree that a Trezor does simplify things.
