Alright, seeing as I've gotten lots of inquiries about the two video cards I'm selling in my spring cleaning thread, I've decided to auction them off.

Auction end date: June 3rd at 12PM EST (and then I will ship them out the same day).

Bidding on both cards will take place in this thread. Please specify which you are bidding on.

Starting bid [5870]: 30 BTC Shipped in the continental USA, shipping to other countries will be extra, of course.

Starting bid [5970]: 60 BTC Shipped in the continental USA, shipping to other countries will be extra, of course.

Both have new coolers, the 5970 is a stock cooler, the 5870 is an Accelero Twin Turbo Pro. It is freshly installed and keeps the card under 50c in my room while mining, overclocked to 950mhz.

The 5970 has not been overclocked.

The 5870 has been overclocked to 950 mhz core for the last two days to test the new cooler.

Post any questions you have in this thread, or PM me.

Minimum bid increment 1 BTC.

Also I'm a scrub. When a mod sees this, could it be moved to the selling section and have this post removed? Thanks  Lips sealed

Did you manage to find any cheap-ish way to ship it? I had a look at FedEx and it was eye-wateringly expensive. I may have to bow out, which is a shame as I thought your price was very reasonable. Have good news for me, please! Either way, best of luck with the auction!

To the EU? If I didn't get back to you, sorry about that!

Yeah, 60 USD or 9 btc to get to europe :/ Not very cheap, unfortunately. But now is your chance to come visit scenic Buffalo, NY for your summer holiday! I'm more than happy to offer will call Smiley

No worries! 9 BTC actually seems fairly reasonable - how about I kick off the bidding with 31 BTC (plus 9 BTC to ship to the UK, for a total of 40 BTC - other bidders would need to bid 32 BTC or higher, since they're not concerned with UK shipping costs).

No other bidders? Tongue

I'm inclined to accept the 31 btc offer for the 5870, unless someone wants to outbid LMGTFY Smiley

If it helps, I'm happy to bow out.  It probably (well, definitely...!) makes more sense for me to try and source GPUs nearer to me. Garrett's price was very reasonable, I thought, but the delivery costs to the UK mean I can't really go any higher than my bid.

I ended the 5870 auction early, card is shipped out Smiley

The 5970 is still up until the 3rd though (due to a contract, I can't shut it down until then)

70 btc is the current bid, from mrb.

jgarzik: I would gladly get out of this auction. (I found a supply of 6990s.) I won't outbid you or whoever bids 71 BTC.

However, if I were to win this auction, I will of course oblige and pay Garrett Burgwardt.

The exchange rate increase is killing me, and I'm in the same spot.

I'll honor my bid, but if permitted, I would lower it to 60 BTC.
