Ex-Moolah CEO Ryan Kennedy Arrested Over Alleged Bitcoin Theft

Surprised to read that the authorities will let him just pay the money he stole.

Even surprised to read that he is a 'self proclaimed' scammer.

There is an easy way to end these theft problems. Stop giving poor kids exclusive access to your money.

Why would authorities do that!
That's so easy on him , that is provoking others to go away with the coins Angry

I remember considering investing 1.5 BTC to this guy's business... glad I didn't. Fucking scammers everywhere.

I was surprised to hear they turned out to be a scam. I believe Moolah had ads on CoinDesk at one time (or perhaps it was CoinTelegraph?) and Mintpal was a pretty highly-regarded altcoin exchange and one of the major ones until it was hacked and later sold.

Good thing this kind of people got arrested finally, and hope they stay behind bars. May this serves as an example for potential scammer in the cryptoworld.

Not surprsing, morals are learned through age, conditioning and experience.  Who knows what is truly right or wrong though tbh, i know i personally like to run a clean ship.

It seems that Ryan Kennedy made little attempt to hide his real identity during his scamming which is not normal behavior for scammers, who tend to cover their tracks well and stay anonymous. Plus he described himself as a self-proclaimed scammer which isn't very smart. Karpeles could have scammed but he blamed it on an exploit so we'll probably never know the full story of what really happened. This guy seems to have just run away with the money in plain sight and even after his identity was exposed which is pretty dumb.

I hate this little bitch. Fucking punk. Another guy here that was excited about Moolah and almost invested. Im not motivated to invest in anything at this point. Everything is a scam in crypto other than Bitcoin itself.

I think hardest hit would be the dogecoin community. Imagine the sense of betrayal surrounding the whole issue. When we have this sort of thing happening, what really matters is the reputation, not to mention morale and how negatively it can affect the sentiment and bring down the mood of the community.
