The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I was told in a different topic that houses and condos "could not sell at any price" in Spain.

Are they like crazy cheap now? I would not mind buying a house/condo near a beach or something in Spain.

Anyone here in Spain know?

Thanks
Wait one year or two and it will be cheaper. Smiley

There was a real state bubble since 1996 to 2008.

I agree they will get cheaper and cheaper for many months to come.

We're still far from the bottom of the real state bubble. When the average spaniard will be able to buy a decent flat in a city devoting 30% of their net monthly income to pay a mortgage of maximum 15 years duration, that will be a reasonable price - and probably the bottom. And we are very far away from that.

Anyhow you can check the biggest real state portal in spain, "idealista": http://www.idealista.com/en/

There you will have an idea of the pricing in different areas.

Thanks for that link. I've also been looking for property in Spain, but it's mostly just a dream. However, it's still nice to be able to browse the market.

I'd say Spanish real estate agents needs to step up their game. Most of the pictures on idealista are utter crap. House and flat prices in Sweden are quite similar to the prices in Spain, but the presentation is just so much better. Here's an example of a flat for sale in Åkersberga, close to Stockholm, Sweden: http://objekt.fastighetsbyran.se/Templates/Pages/ObjectImages.aspx?source=hemnet&ObjektGID=OBJ1175_1228698772

If you want to look at houses and flats for sale in Sweden, you can go to http://www.hemnet.se

The house prices in Spain have dropped a lot, depends on area, but in any case are adsequibles lot more years ago, for example in the area that I live, Las Rozas, Madrid, which is a good area, no prices 30% less than 3 years ago, and in inland areas or up in Valencia beach towns, there are floors 70% lower price for 5 años.En some specific locations of Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao etc, the price can be up higher but it has to be in C / Castellana or Great via.Es a good time to buy a house in Spain if you have money, the problem is that today almost nobody has money and banks do not give loans.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torrevieja

this is cool as it is near the sea, but 10% of the population seems to be brits.

not sure if that is a good thing or bad.

bad, i am afraid ... lots of low IQ ... and quite a lot of "wanna-be-rich"

Your offer is great, but I am not there. I am in Ottawa, Ontario. How can I get it? So, I decide to acquire condos in Ottawa. Your offer is only exact for Spain residents.
