Whole categories of sites keeps disappearing from the site all the time. Sometimes it comes back sometimes not. Wouldn't it be good to have another wiki some other place that has more lax restrictions. Then have the bitcoin.it site at least link to it so people can at least find their porn, gambling, and other stuff!  Grin Some of this "adult" stuff is going to help drive Bitcoin! Perhaps even a tor/onion site?

edit

hmm i googled to that link. Looks like you can't navigate there from main page. Maybe I will start a underbelly-of-bitcoin wiki.

"I deleted the Drugs section, since Bitcoin is still far too vulnerable to government actions against it -- there are many single points of failure."

I don't get this reasoning. It's inevitable that the government will know about Bitcoin, trying to hide it doesn't make sense. I don't use illegal services but I think the black market is important to the Bitcoin economy, and deserves to be mentioned.

Personally I would be happy, if Bitcoin was not used in any kind of illegal activity. But as it is unachievable, I see it as an unavoidable evil. I dislike many of laws that exist in the world, and I don't care if someone breaks them. But breaking the law always entails complications, which, I think, would be better to avoid at this stage. I believe, that systems like Bitcoin will change the world and will change the rules we live by, but it's still a long way to go to that point.

As to black market economy, let it develop on its own, no need to support it by listing in (a kind of) official directory.
