someone told me that's some things ~4x easier/faster in DC 5.x than in OpenCL 1.1, "thanks" to absence of [forgot name]something ?
p.s.
sorry for pointless/obscure question, but how can it be true and if, how its bitcoin-related/helpful ?

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

No idea but, a DirectCompute miner could certainly be useful as low-end/mobile ATI GPUs support DirectCompute but not OpenCL.

cool. when bigger PCI-e switches appear in market, this can become really handy.
he said something about "obviously necessarily thing to write serious program" that AMD forgotten to introduce in OpenCL[but promised to add in 1.2 version], but support in DirectCompute 5 to make writing appz of virtually any kind simpler/elegant/faster.
as i get it its general purpose instruction/dataflow-related trick or something like it. referring  "common sense".
