I hold coin in all of the above.

Which, if any do you think I should hold onto? Which should I get rid of?

Is there another I should be trading for that?

I'm a fan of NXT, seems to be the most robust of the competing blockchains to bitcoin.  Soon will need to add NEM to that list Smiley it is hard to crack into the core team but they have delivered updates like no other platform to date for what it can do.

I like NXT and Ripple, which have many applicable practical usability. Like NXT, it has Asset Exchange, Money System, MultiGateWay, and many other useful application. Ripple is specialized in international remittance, which features instant confirmation, many leading currencies fit-in etc.

Sure, it's NXT. NXT got lots of new features, it's the most innovative coins.
LTC is going to die.
The POS of Peercoin got some problem, the interest is just wrong.

Get out of Quark.  It was an epic pump and dump by Max Keiser and Bill Shill but besides that it has nothing going for it.

Peercoin- first pos coin cool idea just failed to take off (low volume)
Litecoin - fairly disturbed no premine on every chinese exchange ,daily volume in the millions.

Why not hold some bitcoin? It is the leading cryptocurrency. Probably nobody has dispute with that. In altcoin world, different ppl has different points views of them.

Darkcoin must become the next big thing, too many innovations of what bitcoin should be, to not be. I don't understand how ripple is so popular.

I understand how DRK is so popular - people don't want to miss the epic pump train driven by dev, who is manipulating coin price with tons of instamined DRK. Don't forget to get off on proper station, as it gonna fall down hard in a halfway to the promised moon.

Ripple is a product that lacks of many values introduced to people by Bitcoin. In my opinion it tries to be a internet currency with a "human face", but it's not so far away from banking system imho.
