I've seen tons and tons of martial arts movies, been a fan since I was like 5  Smiley So far the movie that has impressed me the most is 'Ip Man' (2008). I find the fight scenes incredibly well choreographed and totally believable. Anyways would be great if you guys could post some movies you've enjoyed watching.
I just watched 'Brotherhood of Blades' (2014) yesterday (totally freaking awesome!!!) and I now need MOAR!!!  Grin

Sure and they are all awesome but I think the fight scenes from the other ones fall just a little bit short when compared to the first movie, of course that's just my personal opinion.
BTW some of you might be interested to know that Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2 is coming out end of Aug. First one is one of my all time favorites  Smiley

Ip Man is indeed an awesome movie. Donnie Yen and Jet Li starred in Iron Monkey together, another great film.

I love that movie too and heard something about a sequel coming out, but that was so long ago that I completely forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder, I'll be keeping an eye out for it.

I think Jet Li is simply amazing and every bit as good as Bruce Lee was. Did you know he always played the hero (and was thought of as one by the Chinese people) until his western film debut in Lethal Weapon 4, which sought to destroy that image of him. Which brings me to one of my all-time favorite Jet Li films, Hero. Fearless and The One are just a couple more that I'd like to recommend.

@Nobitcoin Hell yeah Fist of Legend is LEGENDARY  Smiley , one of my top 3 Jet Li movies for sure along with Hero.

@(oYo) Yeah been waiting for it for a long time too, only thing is they apparently shot the whole thing in English, I generally prefer to watch Asian movies in their native languages with Eng subs. It's just that actors tend to perform at their best when they feel comfortable with the language and don't have to assign extra concentration to every word they say, oh well I suppose I'll get over it.

@Decksperiment I really liked Chocolate too and Ong Bak is totally awesome. I actually first saw Ong Bak while I was backpacking across SE Asia. The movie had just come out, I'd never heard of it, I watched it on the 11h-12h bus journey from Malaysia to Thailand  Smiley

Jet Li for sure and Hero is one of his best. I do like the real old school Kung Fu films where people rip each others scalps off but cant remember the titles.
