i think ya'll need to0 change the name of newbies , we are big men not lil kids , Newbies sounds like we a children , should be called , Freshmen heros or something like that. " smiling "

Yes, I agree I never liked this kind of system. Just imagine 13 yo kid (a Hero Member) who calls 50 yo serious man (Newbie) with names like "kid", "greenhorn"... LoL |

'Newbie' is an accurate description for someone who is new to Bitcoin.
It's not an age-based descriptor. A 13-year-old kid may well know more than a 50-year-old man about Bitcoin, if he's been using it for longer or reading about it.

I think "being new" to a topic isn't that negative. Being called a "newbie" ist just the noun of "being new", i don't care about that status. The status doesn't affect your skill, does it?  |

"Newbie" is a very established term for people new to a technology or an online community. It dates back to the early eighties. So it's not something to take offense in. |
