Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

If it wasn't a jap then you just know it was a german who did this.

And, if not a German, than an albino pygmy residing in a plush hut on the banks of the Amazon.

Maybe a Frenchman living in japan looted Mt. Gox.
And by maybe I mean.....

It could have been his staff. If there's no evidence they can all point at each other and simultaneously say "it must have been him". Anyone with physical access to the servers could have pulled it off, and I heard their physical security was useless.

And they really can point at each other, b/c they're all on the Gox private cruise ship now doing speedballs in a Jacuzzi full of models.

I was looking at the leaked list of accounts which the supposed Mt. Gox "hacker" posted.

One thing you notice is that SOME of the names are "censored", but the names of Americans, Europeans and Russians do not seem to be censored. Just guessing here, but maybe the "censored" names are all the Japanese names. Why would the hacker remove all the Japanese names, but leave in the foreigner names, unless of course the hacker was Japanese.

Hmmmm....

That willy bot, has no activity when Japanese people are sleeping and then went back to work on Japanese working hours and then goes flat on activity again during the Japanese sleeping hours. Maybe you have a point.

Yeah, the location might be in Japan but it doesnt mean that Japanese people are behind it.
