How come when I am writing posts (answering on other topics and starting my own) my activity does not increases? Only my post number increases..

Right now, I am newbie and I want to become member. I can do that by increasing my activity number, right?

So, how to do that?

Thanks

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

So what that actually means is that u have to wait 2 weeks for your activity to update, it lags behind post count that period.
Max activity increase is 14 per two weeks.

You will only get 14 activity points every 14 days(2 weeks). You need to make atleast 1 post per day to collect all 14 activity points.

This isn't quite right.

You need to make 1 post per period (14 days) to get activity. And if posts is greater than activity by 14 - you will get full/max 14 activity at the end of period just by making that 1 post.

Yes, making 1 post is enough to get 1 activity, if activity=posts -I should have mentioned this. Please read again:

You need to make atleast 1 post per day to collect all 14 activity points.

And if posts is greater than activity by 14 - you will get full/max 14 activity at the end of period just by making that 1 post.

You only need 13 posts more than activity to get 14 points by making 1 post(13+1=14). If you have 14 posts more than activity, then by making 1 post, you will grt 14 activity points and the post you made will be carried to next period as 14+1=15 not 14+1=15. Smiley

Yes. Good to see our understanding is the same.

I just wanted to clarify that sentence I bolded...as it could have been misunderstood by newbies to mean posting is required everyday to get max activity, which isn't necessarily the case.

Important thing is (like we've both stated) you 1st have to have enough carry forwad posts up and 2nd you need to post at least once per period.

Smiley

Just one more thing I'd like to add which hasn't been mentioned yet:

The 14 day periods are global and the same for everyone. They are not synchronized with your registration. And if you want to get really technical then it's not exactly 14 days but rather 1,210,000 seconds so the start of each period drifts over time. The current period began on March 3, 2015 at 10:53:20 UTC. The next period will begin on March 17, 2015 at 11:00:00 UTC.

Unless the rules have changed recently, this doesn't sound right at all. In fact, this sounds like the rules for Bitmixer.io's signature campaign although they only don't count posts made in off-topic, games & rounds, alternate cryptocurrencies, and their thread.

@OP, I can say without a doubt, based on your posts, you'll be banned the instant you join any signature campaign if that's your purpose here.
