how to do it in new blockchain.info wallet the new version of block chain as i can see any option to do it ..please guide me
Basically, the new blockchain wallet (beta mode) doesn't support this(signing a message) feature ATM as far as I know. There was already a discussion held on this topic(issue), I'd guess.
P.S.-> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1417992.0
-> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1357661.msg13817882#msg13817882

Yes, there is a work around in the OP though. It requires you to export the private keys into a wallet that allows signing messages. Since there is no official way to export the keys either there is a work around for that as well.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

what does p2sh means? I can't get my private key in blockchain.info because I have already made an update there. I can't find the import/export in new update and there is no going back anymore, its my fault.
Maybe I should try using the Bitcoin Core and electrum.

what does p2sh means?
P2SH (a.k.a Pay to Script Hash) is a new type of bitcoin address which was introduced as part of Bitcoin Improvement Proposal 16 (BIP 16) in early 2012. P2SH addresses can be secured by more complex algorithms than traditional bitcoin addresses.
P.S.-> https://bitcoin.org/en/glossary/p2sh-address , https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2SH
.In simple language(words), you(we) can say that P2SH=multisig.
Maybe I should try using the Bitcoin Core and electrum.
No offense but I'd suggest you to use traditional wallets (e.g. blockchain.info old web wallet) ATM. After educating yourself, you can go for modern wallets for sure IMO.

Traditional wallets? More modern wallets?
QT/Core is the original bitcoin client, and if you're abled to run a node/keep up with the blockchain, there's not much speaking against it.
As a matter of fact, I'd suggest against using web wallets, and keep being the sole person in control over your private keys.

Thats wrong though, thats like saying all numbers are integers, ignoring the rest e.g. fractions.

These are two different things. I linked a guide how to export private keys from the new bc.i (v2) in the OP.

Thank you for that such kind of informations. Yeah I'm still using blockchain.info and I like their new update most especially the security features.

Wow, that's great. Thanks a lot for updating. I'll check it out and get my private keys now.

Yes, your message is verified! (Bitcoin Core)

I think it's better to post it in the other thread: Stake your Bitcoin address here
Edit: I thought it was a bit OT, but then I noticed a lot of verification requests also in this thread.

I think we should to let people try here. Its not the same as staking an address. I see it more as the opportunity of a playground. Posting a signed message here that someone else can verify also shows me that people are actually able to sign message, while a "thx, learned it" does not and often feels like a spam post just to increase the counter by one. Thanks for the verification btw.

Yes, at the end I got it.
My first intention was just a little try to help keeping clean your usefull thread, but the playground idea is indeed the best way to check if people have understood how it works.

Thanks for your how-to, Shorena.

As far as i know you can't sign a message on the new version. Some people here already complain about this and warn other not to update. There's a thread about this but i forgot where is that. or i just read it somewhere here.
