Looks like almost nobody heard of this nonsense. For all we know they could have been doing something illegal under the name, so advertising wasn't necessary.

I still don't understand after so many years, there are still a lot of people who don't understand what bitcoin is all about and what it aims to achieve. Bitcoin is not supposed to be controlled by anybody nor is it aligned to anybody and that's a fact.

You have to wonder if it is willful ignorance or plain stupidity. Either way a "journalist" has a responsibility to research what they are writing about. Pathetic.

I think there is an agenda of sorts with mainstream bitcoin articles, in this case though I'd put down to shoddy journalism.

and 'facts' are just modified to the point of being completely different that source. We are fed with idiotic claims and baseless accusations everyday.

yes, they tend to exaggerate the fact and try to attract the audiences or readers!it is understandable they are driven by profits. But as a reader, we should identify the truth based on our rational judgement.
