Anyone have any interest in a Bracket Contest? We can hold it here http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/tournament/bracket. I'll set up a league with a first place prize 80% and second 20%.

I'm sure a book will agree to escrow the funds. It would be fun if players and books entered. If there is interest just post "in". If we get enough I'll ask a book to hold the funds.

I'm in assuming we can get enough people to make it interesting.  I'm fine with any amount .01-.1, assuming multiple brackets are allowed.

It doesn't look good but if we get 10 today, we'll make it a go. We need 8 more.

Each round has escalating points for correct picks (1 in the first round, 2 in the next round, 4 in the next round, ect).  You fill it out completely before the tournament starts (Thursday morning), whoever has the most points at the end of the tournament wins.

6. HOW TO PLAY.

     a. General. The objective of the Promotion is to accumulate the most points by correctly selecting the "winning pick" for each of the sixty-three (63) match-ups associated with the Tournament.

     b. How to make your selections. You may enter your selections online by following the instructions in the How to Play section of the game.

     c. Scoring. A correct pick in a given round is shown below:

          • Round 2: 10 points per pick

          • Round 3: 20 points per pick

          • Round 4: 40 points per pick

          • Round 5: 80 points per pick

          • Round 6: 160 points per pick

          • Championship: 320 points per pick

In the event a Tournament match does not occur as scheduled (e.g., due to cancellation) no points will be awarded.

     d. Lock-time. All picks will lock at the scheduled tip off time of the Tournament currently scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2015.
