Hey racer,

     Which filename does it specify?  None of ours are harmful, but in the event somehow a 3rd party slipped in a different file I'd like to verify the filename.  Most wallets in crypto will set off false positives due to the fact that they're not signed and a few other possible factors.

It installed itself in new folder called NEOS 2.1, leaving the old NEOS folder as it is.

If I want to transfer funds from old wallet to new one, what would be the best method? Exporting/Importing private keys?

Click "Stop Neos" on the launcher, copy wallet.dat from the old Neos install directory to the new one, click "Start Neos" - you should be good to go.  Let me know if not though and we'll take care of it. =)

You're absolutely right - which is why we also included a virtual keyboard in effort to mitigate that possibility.  If the attacker however is at your machine locally for example and has your passphrase, then of course they can send the coins out.  If someone is physically sitting at your computer and able to cause harm - you have bigger issues than someone stealing your wallet.dat or coins.  However, in the event they just steal the device and start the wallet, it will mail the owner the wallet back and report the information to them via email.

Thanks, I was able to do it.

I know replacing the wallet file works with standard cryptos, I was just paranoid after reading all these new security features in version 2.1 
I wasn't sure if it would allow me to replace old wallet with new version
