Hope some franchising is going on under radar...
could be.  could be testing out something else or network problems or any number of issues that FC will have fixed in the next few days.

Gen2 is definately on its way. There is just a question of time. Expect exponential growth.

Anyone with expertise in deploying large amount of the asic chips?  I am looking for a partner to help deployment of 50T+ of asic chips in USA (don't have the chips yet, but should be here soon), those chips consumes a lot of power from the specs I get (~400KW).  Any help would be greatly appreciated, please contact me via PM to discuss details.  Thanks

No idea... im wondering too that friedcat didnt mention this. Maybe it was a strategic placement to stop the shareprice from falling? I mean its not important to friedcat what a share is priced but to the shareholder it is. Maybe he wanted to help stabilize.

hmmm, maybe
I think addressing the issues with the hash rate would be better to stabilize right now.

Ultimately the price is determined by the reseller, I believe. It's likely the price changes each difficulty shift as well. You can probably check the group buys and btcguild.com, etc for current prices.

That CE logo, does it mean they are regulated by european community in someway to spread their business/franchise to physical stores or something like that?

The CE logo is no proof of quality logo, but a sign that it can be distributed in the European Union because it matches the standard for this.
All electric articles that you want to sell legally in the EU must have a CE sign.

"The CE marking or formerly EC mark, is a mandatory conformity marking for products sold in the European Economic Area (EEA) since 1993."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CE_marking

EDIT: Btw, no need to post twice the same question in two threads...

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

It's not the CE logo but the China Export logo. There's a subtle difference:

I hope they do sticks with the nextgen chips as well.

Ah yes, possible. Reputation of China is well deserved, they even copy logos.
