Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

how much time does it usually take to get a confirm form friedcat for a share transfer through pm,
?

Usually under 24 hours. I have currently been waiting about 36 hours for a share transfer myself, so they are probably even more busy than usual (good news). I haven't heard of anyone haven't to wait much more than 48 hours for one yet, so I would be surprised if yours (I assume you are waiting for one) or mine took any longer than that.

Omg, not much point imho but 10/10 for responding to shareholders wishes. Is there any kind of businessman of the year award in China? This kind of professionalism and zero to multi million company in less than a year deserves recognition.

I'd call it from $400k to $100 million. He should certainly win a Bitcoin business(person) of the year award.  Cool

That would be a great idea. A national scale award for a Bitcoin based company would be seriously good press though and maybe its something the Bitcoin Foundation could help push for.

Only the awards ceremony would probably be like the Razzies ceremony. Many of the receipients not showing up. In this case because they don't want to give up their privacy.

Ho guys,
About one week ago I've bought a "direct" asicminer share from a guy here, he sent a PM to Friedcat for the handover putting me in cc with addresses and so on.

So far we got no answer and this week he still received his revenue instead of me. He's a good guy and he will send my share until I get it transferred, the questions are:
- is it enough to send a PM with nick and addresses of both to him? (I doubt so)
- what is your experience with shares buy/selling?
- what could be the right/best process?

Many thanks Smiley

It's obvious the only people who want the price to decrease are the ones WANTING TO BUY SOME at a discount, with little to no interest in friedcats success.   These fools are inexperienced at life and half no idea how supply and demand works.  If he can get away with selling these sticks for 2 bitcoins, he will!  If he could get away with selling them for 5 bitcoins, he would!  Don't kid yourselves, the mining industry isn't as easy to get into as it used to be.  If you want to make easy bitcoins, go roll some satoshidice with your BFL preorders.  Ignorant punks!  lol   Cheesy

Are you referring to Kruniac (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=120425)?

I am almost certain he is scamming. I have not marked him as a scammer yet as I am not certain.  Friedcat still has time to respond to PM re: the transfer and I've not seen if this is the user others are complaining about.

He purchased 1 share:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=223560.msg2364193#msg2364193

It appears that he has sold it 7 different times:
https://blockchain.info/address/1CWiPVyuzoiKiLJUPrME3jBh97Ss3FxPKs

The original address the funds were sent to:
https://blockchain.info/address/14cBNrTYW9XCnYhJqJ9ooAMzz7zAnojWaz

I have done quite a bit of searching to find his real identity.  I believe I have it and have his background check (home address etc.)  If other who were duped want to PM me we can plan our next steps.

Thank god for escrow.
